- Welcome to the first episode of The Sims 3: Snapshot Stories. Today, we're playing Agnes Crumplebottom, a widow haunted by the tragic loss of her husband, Erik Darling, on their honeymoon. She lives a solitary life in her Sunset Valley mansion, where writing is her only escape from the sorrow. Her world, once filled with dreams of a bright future, now echoes with memories of a past she can't escape.
As we navigate through Agnes's daily life, we uncover the layers of her story. Will she open her heart to love once more, or resign to a life of solitude, focusing solely on her passion for writing novels?

sims 3 households are so underrated, can't wait for sims from other worlds

I don't think they're underrated, there just seems to be a bigger focus of people raving about Sims 2 over Sims 4 - For all the right reasons.
@@SevenEllensims 3 is by far my favorite sims game. Ts2 is good too but ts3 is the best imo
I always pair up Anges with Leighton Sekemoto because her family bio mentions that only a Brave sim can win her heart (guess what, he has the Brave trait), and he is a single dad which means he can give her the family that she always wanted.
I always pair him with Morgana after ending her abusive marriage but this scenario also sounds good.
I'm surprised Agnes's husband never made an appearance. When I play her he always shows up pretty quickly and I tend to have Agnes rekindle the relationship because it just seems harsh to bring over new lovers while he's still hanging around. It usually results in Agnes raising a ghost baby or two alone because I don't want to commit to learning to make ambrosia
Yeah, I was really surprised I never saw him! I need to check my mod settings because I may have disabled ghosts or something and don't remember it!
I do the same lol I give her a clone baby and I bring him back and sometimes give the another child
It's funny because the one time I played as Agnes, I had her bring Eric back to life and start a family with him. That was the one and only time I took the time and effort for a sim to make ambrosia haha.
Request: I’m a lifelong simmer, but I’ve been stuck on TS4 simply because it’s the newest for years. I would love to see a “returning to TS3 tutorial” because I think there are a lot of people like me who played all the games but are just kinda stuck and not sure how to move backwards.
I highly recommend Cindy's video on TS2 but also second a TS3 return / modding tutorial!
I would also love an introduction to sims 3. I don’t really get this game and how to find sims scattered all over the city
I’d also love if that video included tips on how to optimize TS3 on modern computers! I know Cindy has said in the past that she used a guide for TS3 that got rid of all lag on her PC, but idk what guide she used! 😊
The biggest problem is that it's hard to run old games on new computers. Plus with Sims 3, even tho you figure out how to run it, it still lags and stuff of brand new and super powerful machines.
Yay Agnes! She's so underrated. I always end up reviving her in Sims 2 and have her finding love in her revived twilight years. They never do end up having children but one of the times I've played she ended up adopting Meadow Thayer

In my current version of Sunset Valley, Agnes had Marty Keaton's baby, but she moved in with her sister and husband and is raising him with her extended family. (This happened autonomously.)She doesn't want to break up Marty's family, but he actually loves her more than Justine. We shall see. I think I might have had her with Christopher in one version. They do have good chemistry!

I think Agnes told Christopher about the burglery and flirting told him she feels safe with him around. And he took it as an invitation to stay, and maybe Agnes wants to be rescued. ❤
I'm so glad to see this spotlight! As someone who has always preferred the way Sims 2 handles it's aging, I struggled playing more than one family in TS3. So I never really got play Agnes herself, though I do think I had some of her decedents marry into my family in one of my Sunset Valley saves.

I feel like Agnes got in that dumpster so her Watcher would have no choice but to take her home being that she smelled foul. THIS WAS SO SO GOOD!
Maybe in the next episode Agnes could change her black mourning clothes to show that she has overcome grief. I have never played Agnes before but I truely love your videos!
I love how you let the Sim decide the way the game progresses! Most UA-camrs give their Sims goals and direct the play. Which is fine. But you give the story to the Sim. Like reading a good book rather than writing it. More entertainment and always surprise twists your way!
After watching this, I realised I’ve hardly played with any of the households in TS3! I always make new sims. So excited for this series.

I love playing Agnes! In my game she's involved with Leighton Sekemoto, we met at the theatre. She had incredibly good relationships with his family, especially with little Sam and as in my game life span is set to long, it took A LOT of time to get them engaged and married later (they actually married right before Yumi died) and she's later got pregnant and ended up having a miscarriage 😭 (I swear I took care of her needs), but later she gave birth to a little boy and I guess she's also happy taking care of Sam, so yeah she had her ups and downs, but she's ended up having everything she dreamt of about and she's a professional artist in my game

I know the sims 4 is in a different timeline but I was so happy to see her get more lore in the horse pack.
When I used to play anges, I used to let her get on with her writting and painting then when she wanted children, she adopted and she has an amazing relationship with her kids and mortmore and loved telling them stories
I used to LOVE playing with Agnes. I love the idea of Agnes getting the life she deserves but when her late husband appears in the game I liked having a relationship with him as well and having him back in her life but only as a ghost...maybe sometimes even have a ghost kid
i restarted sunset valley to play rotationally with premades a while ago, and in my playthrough i wanted morgana wolff and agnes to become friends (since morgana feels lonely in her marriage and agnes is alone) but they ended up falling in love with each other (i think they have compatible signs). so i made morgana divorce her husband and she moved in with agnes. they finished the nursery and their son now lives there. i think it's nice because they both want a family. also, they are a really beautiful couple

I just started playing sims 3 again after years playing sims 4. It's so refreshing to play and I started as Agnes crumplebottom and she started a family and travels to France every couple of weeks ❤

If theirs one good story sims 4 added. It was the reveal that her second husband FAKED his own death. Like seriously I love that they decided that. It adds a whole new level of sad to her story.

I always played that Agne’s rekindled a love from high school. I made and saved a house hold of a sim I named Angus. His bio was he always felt that Ange was the one that got away and never was able to find love since. Last he head of her she was happily married.
I can’t play any other way now with her ❤
I used to always revive Erik Darling and have them remarry and give Agnes the life she deserves. ❤

I love Agnes, I always play her and she is pared up with Christopher Steel. They just go perfect together for me
Despite environmental storytelling, I have never thought about Agnes's character as a family sim. Her late husband was a very outgoing character in sims3 terms, but he has no wibe of responsible adult for happy parenting either.
So Agnes in my games went in university, became author of many mystic and love novels, became a vampire, but rarely actually wished to ressurect her husband or to have children. She's a perfect hit for a custom character with gold-digger lifetime wish though. Or black widow story, where she kills her next spouses for writing inspiration again and again.
In my game Agnes married Dustin Langerak after his divorce, they had a daughter together, but Dustin also drown.
We want more Agnes!

So, my Agnes tried to move on and her career went super well. However, her relationships always struggled. Often when I wasnt paying attention she'd get kinda mean or unfriendly. So, she ended up with a daughter after getting married. However, her marriage fell apart. Then she got married again - to Christoher even. That lasted a bit but , also ended not so fun. However, she really was ok. She had a daughter. She had a house full of pets. Ultimately she dated on and off until she was old and she was pretty happy with that, pets, 1 child, and a great career.
In my sims 3 game my sim decided to marry Jared frio and on the family tree I saw his brother connor was dating christopher steel 😊 still haven't managed to meet christopher in that save
Love this! The first time I played her I had her be an author and get with Christopher too. They had 2 boys then my computer died and I had to buy a new one. My second time playing her she wanted to join the medical career. Her first day she brought home Geoffrey landgraab from work and they had undeniable chemistry. So I stole him from nancy 🤭
My Agnes couldn't get pregnant, so she spent a lot of time being an aunt to Mortimer, so when she died, he inherited everything.

I get Angus to fall in love with people but it never works out, they cheat on her or she fights with them, or the husband ghost scares them away.
Angus needs all this to happen so she can become the purse carrying , grumpy old woman we all love to hate in the sims 2

I started playing The Sims 3 with Agnes Cummplebottom and felling sorry about her sad story I moved Eric's grave to the cementery, she met Stiles McGraw, and as they made a good couple, they fell in love, got married and had twins names Agnes and Robert.

Honestly, in my playthroughs she usually gets back with her 3 former lovers and has a baby with each. I guess for me as shes such a loner she doesnt tend to solialise much. Its refreshing to see her meet some one new and have a normal life though.
But now heres the issue... i kinda wanna know if she ever gets her family in your playthrough hahaha

could you please review chemistry mods like turn-ons&turn-offs fixes and replacements (epi's, simler90's, midgethetree's, lazyduchess'..there are so many it's super overwhelming esp to someone new to mods and cc)🙈💖and other chemistry-related mods all sound super hardcore..the most confusing thing is which to pick and is there an updated version since they are all scattered across multiple websites like tumblr, mts, gos, cj, insimenator etc etc and there is this traits project that sounds incredible but i cannot figure out what's what and how to implement those in my game 😸🙈
