Missed the stream, but just wanted to follow up on the Silver Strike Multicade I was working on. Picked up a used Silver Strike moon cab with all the internals, excluding the PC a few weeks ago. I have connections and added a PC with a hard drive switcher using 3 drives. 1 drive has Silver Strike X, 1 drive has Power Putt with 13 courses & the last drive has Target Toss Pro. Got it all working and then the original 27” CRT burned out. Just tonight, I finished pulling the old 150 lb CRT out of the cab and replaced it with a new 25” flat screen LCD. Bonus is now it runs in HD (you can change the resolution on the I/O board. Total build cost for me was $250 for the cab and $80 for the flat screen. Everything else was thrown in by a buddy who owed me some favors, including the PC, new controls, trackball, hard drives, wiring and switcher. I now have my own one-of-a kind Silver Strike Multicade.
The Legends Ultimate as a decent "machine" is still an incredible deal at $550, with the included 300 games. I added the Namco Arcade Blast USB disk to play legal arcade roms.
I feel like any price to BYOG to ATGames product to me means if I would buy another I would just pull the motherboard and buy a HDMI adaptor like you do for a A1UP and put a PC in it and skip ATGames firmware and OS and their market alltogether! I think making the BYOG a paid unlock will force you to sign in and update the ATgames in order to keep the BYOG feature active! Ideally I wish Glen or someone would release a loaded Viper USB stick for the ATgames and could run it just like a standard arcade with thousands of games that way!
@@j.b.998 you have to do the mod yourself. Preorders go live Wednesday. Shipping in November I believe. www.buystuffarcades.com/products/pc-kit-for-ridge-racer-outrun
I don't think they've done a conversion kit yet for the PC mod for Fast and Furious - so you can start with Ridge Racer, you can email or DM them on Facebook and they'll tell you exactly what you need based on your setup.
If you haven't done the mod yet with the android box you can just buy their encoder board kit, then this PC upgrade kit. You don't need to buy the full android box kit.

That's amazing, you really made that happen!
I saw PDubs buy a sub. It was a large meatball and provolone. It sounded good, so I bought one too. It was delicious!
@@Frank_D lol delicious!!!
Naughty little Rom pirates lol!
Loving multicade Mondays PDubs. Excited for the Star Wars PC mod. Greetings from London.
@@XR1000 lol thanks for watching fellow ROM pirate!
OTG really should be free. After paying thousands to get the hardware there's a paywall preventing you from using the hardware that you just paid for.
@@avp2501 Agreed 👍
That and they should have fixed the issue with the high failure rate of the CTR board by now.

Yes its a decent multicade albeit a bit outdated at this point.
Everything about it is decent except the high failure rate of the CTR board. I have not heard word they corrected it yet either.
maurice in the house
Sup Maurice?
Would really like to get the upgrade for my Ridge racer cab....but would have no idea of how to install it.
@@Rich2rectro there are tutorial videos on their website

So what was the cost & turnaround for the ridge racer mod? & lastly...where can we have it done

What do you need to get from buy stuff store if you get the pc upgrade and have both the ridge racer and fast and furious cab to go head to head?

@@PDubsArcadeLoft Thank you for the information. I enjoy your channel. It’s
an honest and practical take on things.
So this new buystuff racing mod does not require their original racing mod? Kinda confused by what they have written online.
