Excellent introductory video and thanks. After spending a few hours 'behind the wheel' it will likely be my go-to non-prop aircraft. I'm not a big fan of the airliners, but rather stick to the prop aircraft. This appears to fit in some middle ground of getting from point A to B quickly - and at high altitudes - with the handling characteristics of a prop aircraft, particularly when landing.
I absolutely loved this in X-Plane 11, so getting this even as payware was a no brainer. I'm in the middle of my first short flight right now, haven't even read the manual yet. I was just going from memory and internal checklist. So far i love it. There's one "small" thing that i hate, though. The massive headphones on the dashboard. I get that it's most likely a product placement and it might have even helped to finance this little jet mod, but it literally blocks the view out of the airplane and was pissing me off to no end. Thank you for this video. It would probably took me a while to find how to remove them if i haven't clicked through it. (If anyone haven't found out how, it's the middle screen/VAMS icon/Bose). Happy flying!
Very similar to the Honda but I like the VNAV and auto throttle features of this. I also like the gray and orange livery combo. I may purchase this soon. Working Title will be working on the G3000/5000 and we should see it in the first quarter of next year. This jet has customized this G3000 like the developer did with the Honda. It's a cool looking jet. Thanks for the upload and quick review.
Great video. I've watched a few about this plane and you're the first person who looks like you have a clue what you're doing :) And I suspect you're also the person who persuaded me to buy it :)

You mentioned stuttering I'v noticed this since the last update usually near Airports. We did have a small update the other day so maybe this fixed things.

In real life, there's a bug with the electrical system in that if you start the engine using the GPU, the heater and air conditioner get shed and can't be restarted without shutting down the plane and starting over. So, in real life, they use the GPU to fully charge the battery, then start on the battery. The good thing here, from a rampie's POV, is that the GPU is disconnected before engine start. As the exhaust pipe is at kneecap level, unhooking the GPU with the engine running would require either a very low limbo under the very low tail, or walking all the way around the front of the plane. So IMHO as a rampie this is a good thing. Is this modeled in the plane? The other thing I know as a rampie is that you can't add oil to the engine in the usual manner with a long-necked funnel because of how the engine's mounted. So the plane comes with this oil "dispenser" that reaches in and gets oil into the engine, and you pour the standard oil can into this "dispenser" thingy. Then you put the "dispenser" thingy in a Ziplok bag and toss that in the baggage compartment. Problem is, the "dispenser" thingy isn't pressure-proof so barfs out the oil in it at altitude. And the provided Ziplok back dissolves when turbine oil touches it. As a result, ALL Vision Jets in my experience no longer have carpet in the baggage compartment but only absorbent pads, nor carry any baggage there because all soon becomes soaked with oil. Also, there's a big oil stain down the side of the rear fuselage from the aft lower corner of the baggage compartment door. Cirrus is aware of this problem and promises a new oil "dispenser" thingy in the near future. So does this big oil stain and the lack of carpet show in the game?
@@James28R Well, I've been in aviation in different capacities all my 60 years. The only other terms I've heard for guys who work the ramp is "line guys." Which just shows the position mostly doesn't have its own, commonly accepted name. "Rampie" fills that void and is, in my experience, the term currently in most common use.
A good first impression video but I am going to pass on this one as the H-Jet is I think better and enough for me in the small jet category. I noticed at 08:33 you referred to runway 22; just so you know how much attention I pay to your videos😊 All the best.
Hard to say yet if the H Jet is better. They are both really good. The H Jet has seen a lot of support so it is more matured. I expect this will see similar support. This really gives the pilots a view. That’s the main feature. And it kinda flys like a GA plane. The H Jet is more of a business jet. So they do feel different in spite of their obvious similarities.

@@hotshot4512 It's opinion but the x-plane 12 sound is very good. You can actually hear the fans of the avionics with engine off.
