I would add a little more rule.
If the deck runs out before you can finish yours, you lose. There no reshuffling.
More challenge, play with fewer card in the deck.
And yes, that means, draw 2 card is bad for you no matter what.

I think when you play draw 2: Suffle the discard pile then put 2 cards from that back into the deck.
