Another lovely podcast! Our younger son went to college in Maine and we spent many wonderful times in Belfast, Camden and in Acadia. Brought back some great memories. Older son went to UVM. Now both sons and their families are in Vermont. So we make the trip up there often (from near Philadelphia!)

Hihi Marie, Im knitting & camping in Washington, by Cape Disappointment, as I'm watching your wonderful podcast. This area is spectacular & so rich in history too. We began camping 1 year before my hubby retired: Wish we would have started years ago. Lovely memories & good times in GOD's majestic nature...are the best for the soul & our relationship. Getting alot of dishcloths & socks knit too, yay!🥰❤️🧶🧶

I vacationed in Stockton Springs last summer. Went to Acadia, Fort Knox and Heavenly Yarns in Belfast. Beautiful area!

All of your makes are beautiful. I’ve made a shawl that worked up small and gave it a try with a pin at the shoulder and it works. I’m with you on Berroco Remix and have learned it grows with wear but the Plymouth yarn is fantastic. Thank you for sharing your vacation video 🤗

I wish someone would create a couple sock blocker with medium on one end and small on the other end. I can see it in my mind. Maybe a large and medium on another one. It could share a heel with one end larger than the other for the foot. I think it's genius!

Looks like you had a wonderful trip! Have you ever used your fingering weight held double to make dk socks? I love your little shawl designed by Judy. I really need to make one too
I have used fingering weight held dbl to make dk socks. They tend to be just a bit thicker than my regular dk socks so I don't often do that. But it is an OK option for sure. Judy's shawl is lovely!
