Right now I am knitting Easter stuffies.I hope to start knitting socks this year. I have mostly knit accessories and stuffies. Thank you for your suggestion of the Hello Friend vest. I’m knitting one now with reclaimed yarn from a thrift shop sweater. Also, the Beloved bonnet is a fabulous pattern. I’ve knit them for my granddaughters and they love them.

You might try adding a purl row after your knit row, that might work to keep it from rolling, perhaps. 🤔 Worth a try anyway hopefully 🤞🏻

Hi Marie. So happy to see your podcast. Glad you went to Harrisville. It is a magical place for me as I have taken several classes there and my grandfather used to work in the mill. His house is just down the road from the mill. I take a walk by it each time I go. I am working on the Sophie Hood. Using Laines du Nord. What a lovely yarn. What a great vlog. I will be participating in the MAL. I’m finishing a charity blanket, kinda big, 5’x7’. It’s scrappy. I want to make mits, socks, those bangle bracelets by Amba O’Brien on Ravelry. This is the first time I’ve seen your vlog and you have me hooked with the gift knitting a month idea! Also love the knit you’re wearing!

Absolutely in for a gift along. I knit most of my gifts every year, and I start in January. Planning and getting ready to start now. Last year I knitted 11 hats and 11 pairs of socks. Adding to that a friend has asked to knit 7 pairs of socks. So, I am in. Ravelry group would be fun. No prizes necessary.

I’m so so enjoying your podcasts! And people just don’t know about your podcast!! I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon yours and now I’m going backwards. 😊 I can’t imagine people pushing the thumbs down button! OH brother!!! I cast on a project today that I’ve decided to tuck away into a gift box to giveaway this year for Christmas, instead of giving it away now. GREAT IDEA! My husband and I have a trailer too and we love taking it out several times through out the summer. We have two friends who also have trailers and we all go together. The guys go golfing a few times and the three of us girls stay back and knit and talk and walk and laugh and at night we all play games. It’s so fun! I hope you keep going and hope you know that those of us who don’t know the first thing about making a podcast sure do appreciate those of you who do! It makes our making so much FUN! So thank you!!!!!

Hi, I've just discovered so socks, do you have a basic pattern as your go to? Really enjoyed this episode, love the kick to start gift knitting. I've just finished a cropped sweater for my granddaughter- extra bulky, very quick, she would love the sleeves you're doing for your granddaughter!

This was a fabulous video. I was knitting while watching, but I kept putting my knitting down as I was so afraid I missed something!! I'm all in for the gift along. It's funny because at the beginning of the year I told 'hubster' I was planning to make one hat each month for charity. Now you've really encouraged me to do that so I won't feel as if I'm doing it all by myself. That's just fabulous! The hat I'm knitting at the moment is in aran yarn but it's taking me ages to get it done. I think I would have picked a different yarn weight if I'd known what I was getting myself into!! I knit quite a lot but sometimes I can't because I live with chronic pain and numbness. It's so discouraging. But your videos, I know for sure, will keep me going and have me reaching for my needles at all times of day and night. I have a 5 month old German Shepherd puppy and he's a real menace with my knitting and yarn. I just have to stand up and he pinches it and drags it outside!! Hello, my name is Kate and I'm a native Shetlander. I have just found you and have already subscribed and pressed the 'like' button. Loved all your projects. I have a lot of WIPS going on at the moment but I'm currently focusing on 'Hats for the Homeless'. I'd like to make one a month alongside my current projects, then gift them to a homeless charity in December. I'm not a fast knitter so we'll see what happens lol. Take care and happy knitting.

How fun to see Sanguine all knit up and ready for gifting. I love that pattern for the double brim, but also for the lack of decreases. I always procrastinate on hat decreases. Happy knitting!
