- It's cold outside.
In this vlog, I had al sorts, of idea's to show you....however!...The recent cold spell (-2 & sometimes below) has had a drastic effect on the cameras (Mainly the go pro's)
So in stead, I had to piece together, what I could, with the footage that the camera's did take.
I'm so sorry, if this vlog doesn't make much sense, i tried my best, in the conditions that were given.
Let's hope the next vlog will be better.

Yup, don't mind the younger seals, especially this wee fella, he was taken refuge in the harbour, when we had that bad easterly. He came up a few times next to the boat looking for food, needless to say, I didn't have any at the time, so that was me making up, for not having something for him, back then.😁👌
As for the flying rats....no, can't stand them, even though they are supposed to be spirts of auld fishermen. 😂😂😂😂

Great film as always Barry! 👍 I always find charging Go Pro batteries on Mains rather than on PC as recommended and I check monthly for Go Pro updates - dunno why but these two things really help get longer battery life when out filming!

I always charge my batteries on the mains too, it's the only way, to guarantee a full charge.😂😂😂
Our professional, has had bother with his go pro's too, when the weather hits the minus temps...glad it's not just my go pro's. 😂😂😂
I tried to film the next again day, but the buggers would literally turn on, the shut themselves down.🥶🥶🥶😂😂😂😂, so that vlog got scrapped. 😂😂😂.
Glad to say, with these nicer temperatures, they are working at full capacity once again...phew.🤪🤪😂😂😂

Great video Barry, beautiful sunrise, minus 4 and in a tea shirt like it's the Caribbean, yes big jumper would get too warm when working , terrible not catching much, but thanks for showing us that was a cute wee lobster, my mother says no, were not having one🦞 in the bath I'm still trying to name that tune on your radio 😁

ah nothing like winter on the water !!! especially on an open boat, na escape from the wind !! i'm bloody jealous mate , tis a bonnie day to be out. i've lived in Canada too long , minus 4, we've had minus 45 before windchill bloody glad i wasn't at sea in that. happy new year Baz, stay safe , cheers

When we had the idea, of building our own boat, she had to be built right, to our way of working, and this is the result after many nights, and days thinking about what goes where etc.
I think all our efforts have definitely paid off, she's a dream to work, and a FANTASTIC sea boat.

Normally we use, windy.TV, or wind guru.
It's never far off the mark, apart from today, its supposed to be gusting 25 mph this morning, so far, not a breath.😳😳😳
Missed this morning as the tides are all to buggery getting out the old harbour.
Guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday now ( next weather window)

That would make a great vlog, However, there are no brown crab left in Dunbar, either over fished, or they're off to cooler waters.
We only get about 2 weeks of the year where crab is on the ground, and there isn't a lot of stock of them, unfortunately. ☹👎
Sad state of affairs I know, but that's what happens when we keep taking, and put nothing back.😁👌
It's either that, or my gear can't catch the cold, never mind. 🦞 & 🦀🤷♂️?😂😂😂😂
