Is Explosion of Artificial Intelligence a Threat to the Bible, Morality?

- The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought with it lively conversations not only about new technological possibilities but also warnings and concerns over potential abuses and misuses. Dr. John Plake, chief program officer at American Bible Society, told CBN News his organization set out in its annual "State of the Bible" survey to "look at this unique angle on the Bible and technology."
The American Bible Society frequently asks specific questions about the intersections of faith and technology, but with the AI discussion rapidly expanding in recent months, researchers decided to ask people a series of positive and negative questions about the burgeoning tool. "We looked at things like, 'Can AI be relied on for moral reasoning?' or, 'Would you be against AI helping your pastor to prepare his sermon or perhaps preparing the sermon and your pastor just delivering it?' - things like that," Plake said. "We asked, 'Do you believe that AI goes against biblical teaching?'"
The "State of the Bible" report then broke down the results by generation and level of Scripture engagement, and the survey yielded some fascinating findings. "People who are more engaged with Scripture tend to be more skeptical of artificial intelligence," Plake said. "And I think part of that is that they're tuned into moral hazards that come about when we think about machines doing our thinking for us."
Scripture-engaged respondents were less optimistic about the future benefits of AI, less likely to believe it aids in moral reasoning, and less likely to see it as enriching spiritual practices or promoting "spiritual health." It's not just Christians who are cautious, though. The general public seems overwhelmingly unsure of what the future holds and appears to be more driven by fear than excitement over what's to come. The results found 68% of the public disagreed with the idea AI could "promote spiritual health" and 58% also disagreed when asked if it could "aid in moral reasoning."
Back on the faith front, the so-called Moveable Middle - people willing to give the Bible a chance but not necessarily engaged - had a bit of a different take. "The Movable Middle, however, are more likely to believe AI might enhance their spiritual practices and health, possibly indicating a desire to connect with God and Scripture with the right tool," a press release read. This world is passing away but the word of God will never pass away.
I have a serious issue with this ungodly AI movement to "help" the churches. The "help" for a pastor to do a sermon should ALWAYS be from the Holy Spirit, NOT divination born AI. This movement with AI is spiritually dangerous. Nomatter what ANYONE thinks about ai being "beneficial" THAT SHOULD NOT MATTER. The origin of AI and computing is from ancient divination. Fact. Woe unto the pastors who call on anything or anyone OTHER than the Holy Spirit to do their sermons. If they do not allow the Holy Spirit to help and teach them, they should certainly RESIGN. WHY? They have no discernment from God if they practice divination and do not know AI is from divination, they jave NO DISCERNMENT. THEREFORE, SHOULD NOT BE LEADING THE FLOCK. -- People change constantly with their worldy wisdom ( which is foolishness to God ) but God Almighty NEVER changes. The Word of God is Holy, it is alive and active, and should be listened to by someone called to do it with the Understanding of the Holy Spirit. People who teach and preach should handle the Word of God VERY CAREFULLY, NEVER relying on demonic AI.
Yes, as far as I am concerned, saying its "helpful for a convenience" is just the sugarcoating that has been used for every unneccessary technology that has become a scourge in this society..a way of introducing it to initially become accepted.

God's holy word needs to be read and studied by humans. It is that intimate relationship with the reader and teacher and the Holy Words that helps us understand and help others. I would be very cautious in using AI in church. My gut says no.

A.I. is demonic, Revelation 13 : 15 , " He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die." A.I. speaks lies. Duteronomy 18 : 20 - 22, " But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.” You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. Most A.I. programmers are not Christian.

I believe AI will eventually rewrite the Bible to make it politically and universally "correct" to be accepted by "all." It will probably also be gender neutral, line up pretty closely to the prosperity gospel and not convict anyone of sin. Just my thoughts on the AI subject affecting the Bible.

I have been following AI development for almost 2 years and can assure you it's capacity is way beyond what people commonly think.
I think in the hands of it's masters the ability to censor true Christianity and the Gospel is of great concern.

He brags about being a former university professor. Yet he was fired by Evangel University in Springfield MO.
The first and last local church he Pastored in Arlington Heights lllinois went out of business after he destroyed the marriage of a couple in that church. He actively helped a mentally ill and abusive woman abuse her children and her husband more. He encouraged this wife to divorce her husband. A man who easily won sole custody of his children and he did that without hiring a lawyer.
This upset the people in thar local church so much they shut down that church permanently.
The name of that church was Arlington Assembly of God in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

He is the Son of God, The Great I Am, The Most High, Lord God Almighty, Christ Jesus. King of kings and Lord of Lords. The Messiah, my saviour that was sacrificed and crucified on the cross of calvary for our sins.
There is no threat to the Bible! The Bible-God’s Holy Word stands strong and has defeated and will defeat anything that comes against it! The question is, who among us will do all that us possible to stand, and to stand no matter how extreme or difficult or dangerous you stand, stand, STAND!!! The question is who will stand no matter what, because we cannot please God without Faith!!!

I will not be getting my spiritual instruction from the web on any day of the week. I’m looking solely to the Word of God out of my hard copy bibles. The Lord Jesus Christ will instruct me through His Holy Spirit. Deception is everywhere and strong delusion is everywhere.
Artifitial Intelligence takes away snd does aeay with God's Creation. This is not a debateable vomment. It blasphemous demonic completely against God's word. Thats it I've made my comment and said enuff.
Its just hype... but it will help theological apologetics by helping many sift through all the literature and sermons to weed out bad theology.... And as it goes, fertilize more bad theology and doctrine.
There is no replacement for God (Elohim) our Creator. Ai cannot and will never speak for the Almighty God. It is idolatrous for ministers relying on Ai for direction and sermon preparation, etc. It is idolatry for Jesus' church to depend on Ai.

Nothing is a threat to the Bible....God wins....end of story.
