There are ways to get them registered and as said….depends on the state…just sent a message for a buddy over there to track me an XR-6 down in decent shape so i can build it my way. Already have an XR8 that should be here around May unless we scratch up a decent 6 and have to get a larger container

Turbo falcons are a slippery slope mate. I had a heap of Holden V8s and now I'm hooked on the barra platform. Just be careful mashing the throttle and letting your ZF kick down gears by itself. They're decent auto's, but known to snap input shafts doing that. Change down gears manually, then hit the loud pedal.
You'll need better rods before turning it up ,the na version only had 1r23 rods and your about 100hp from their limit ,turbo had 3r23 rods 👍 From memory I don't think they put the lsd in it so it's just an open center diff. Turbo version had an m86 lsd factory, na was only the m80 open. I've got the sedan myself in manual, 480whp 571ft lb (still on the 3576) 3582 makes a bit more torque plus the autos tend to make more torque too. Kicking myself for not buying the Ute and auto lol The drivelines aren't super strong and the manual is savage on the them ,already broke the rear end and a clutch 🤦♂️🤣 The zf6 is a tough box but you've got the na box so you'll need it built before adding more power. You've got the xr6 which is basically just a base xt with a bodykit ,rims n lower suspension. Where as the xr6t is drastically different, different engine (lower comp and better pistons and rods) it gets a beefier trans, m86 diff, better suspension, bigger brakes. What they've done is what's called an na+t 👍 Beware of the inner door handles breaking off lol and the icc have a tendency to fail too, ignition barrels too, they have a smart alternator too so keep your charge levels up or u can damage the alternator. Oh and wheel bearings are a common failure.

There's lots of different na Barras it looks like an xt. Needs big upgrades to hold decent boost. Green top gas has bigger internals

Because its a NA it has a open diff the turbo and v8 models have a m86 lsd so just get a stock turbo or v8 diff. Better yet get a trutrac or wavetrac.

Thanks for the heads up! Sounds similar to the 6L80s in the holdens, they hate down searching for gears.
