This is by far, for me, the best tutorial for making house slippers! I have tried so many times, with little success, to make something for my family that I am proud of. Your step by step instructions leave no room for interpretation. A heartfelt thanks for your videos and simple instructions.
@najwaalnaimi4354......I am a beginner, too. This crochet artist (Stephanie Zed), has a great teaching speed for those of us who aren't fast crocheters yet. One day I'll be able to crochet much faster but until then I'm still in the slow rate section....LOL. She makes it really easy to learn.
Hello Stéphanie, Since I discovered your incredible video, I have made at least 12 pairs and I will continue because my friends at the residence where I live are still asking me for more. By the way, I'm 77 and crocheting is my favorite activity. Bravo for your explanations!
What a fantastic tutorial and very practical pattern! I have just crocheted myself a pair in red velvet chenille chunky yarn! A bit of an experiment to see how long they last but currently warm & very comfortable. I did single crochet 3 stitches wide on the top edge rear of slipper to create a tab to pull them on. I hadn't crocheted a high cuff. I'm delighted with them.
I love the new heel on this one. It's so nice not having to sew the heel together . I also like how the corners are 2 posts together so there is no gap. Excellent tutorial 💕 I appreciate the time and detail that was put in to making this video.
What an absolutely fantastic, quick and easy crochet house slipper pattern. I am so impressed with how they turned out and I am definitely going to make more. Stephanie I loved the way that you expained everying and that you had the pattern on the screen as I went along. Regards Patricia from South Africa
These are really good in this cold weather. I am in UK and using one end of aran weight and one end chunky together to make. An extra 2 rows on front and and extra 2 on back of regular width and they fit a UK size 8 male. He is wearing the first and waiting patiently for me to finish the 2nd for his cold foot. :-)
Best tutorial ever and cutest crochet booties ever. So easy to follow! I’m making my first pair on super bulky yarn. The subsequent pairs will definitely be on bulky. I can’t wait to make slippers for all my family for Christmas! I know they are sick of hats.
I finally found the perfect slipper for my Honey Bunny, The good part is I can make these. You are the perfect teacher. I love how you explain the different sizes and you go step by step. Thank you for this great tutorial
Thank you Stephanie you are an amazing teacher I made one foot of tiny size in yellow I like the fury cuff on ankle you attached to one size lovely have t get going to make the next one thank God for the ability to stop video
Yeah these are great. Who wants to crochet two soles them darn them together. I almost done with my first slipper. Took a couple do overs but finally got it. Lol
I love all your tutorials! They are easy to follow & I've learned several stitches that I've tried from others but could not follow. But you made it clear & easy to follow along. You do a fantastic job!!
Thank you so much Stephanie! I have been making your slippers for a couple of years now. So excited about this detailed video. I copied and paste the instructions. Everyone wants these slippers. I can't stop making them. So grateful for all your time and efforts.
You are so welcome! Yes, this one did take me a long time. I want to make sure I have answered everyones questions. I have to still make a few more pairs for gifts as well. They crochet up so fast, I love it.😃
Hello Stephanie... me again... I have finally finished my first slipper.... I made it, then frogged it, then redid it and frogged it... but I did finish one today... I started from scratch again... needless to say your video took me though it... MANY MANY times...lol. I just wanted to say that your voice is so soothing, and calm. You speak slowly and clearly so that you can be followed... by the time I was on my final attempt at my first slipper, I was almost able to keep up with your steps and rarely had to rewind. Thank you for the excellent tutorial... keep on making them!
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I love the way you bring us through each step. I don’t have to stop and pause and rewind, your timing is impeccable on how to follow you. These are the most best squishy slippers. I made them for Christmas presents this year. Can’t wait to give them away. Keep up the great work.
Im just self learning to crochet and have only practiced doing the 3 basic sts over and over. I made slippers for my husband using just sc (had to frog 4 times due to sizing, different yarn used and crochet hook size) quiet the challenge for a very first project, but I was determined to do it, they fit & look pretty good actually. I then decided to try your slippers for myself. I was able to learn and work the magic circle, learn how to fpdc, bpdc, incl decreases and have just finished one slipper - using a med weight yarn #5 hook, went with extra wide as regular in this yarn was more the width of a children’s one - added more rounds to get the correct length and 2 more rounds before heel decrease. It fits perfectly on my small 6.5 size foot, loved that it was all in one and no joining. Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial, Stephanie 🧡 Im a visual learner and you did such an amazing live tutorial, this learner was able to make and learn along the way. Feeling pretty chuffed with my slipper, now to make the other one 😍 Heartfelt thank you 🥰
Just about finished a pair of these using your original video, love them. So appreciate this update video and info. Will be making another pair for me and my family using this video and info you took the time to post. Most informative video I’ve ever watched. Thank you for the very simple and detailed info. So easy to follow.

They're all nice slipper variations. I think, however, that I like the look of the reverse single crochet version. I like the way it looks with the cuff turned down. This is the version I'm going to try and make for my mom. Thanks for such a detailed, easy to see and easy to follow, tutorial. -- Janet.
omg. omg. OMG. I've finally found, after 1 1/2 years as a newbie, a crochet teacher who doesn't go soooo fast it's hard to keep up!! So many of the crochet "teachers" just don't seem to understand how we newbies need to go more slowly than they do. I had absolutely No trouble following everything you just showed me. Thank you soooo much! I certainly hope you've got lots of things in your crochet "chest" that I'll want to do. Again, thank you for thinking of us newbies!!
Stephanie, this was a WONDERFUL video! I just finished the first slipper up to where I want to use a different yarn for the cuffs (played yarn chicken and won with 3 inches left of Skein #1!!) and will make the second one today. Thank you SO much - this was fun. I'm a knitter, and have not crocheted in many years. I've been looking for a good slipper video, and this is it.
I made 16 pairs for Christmas and added a second sole. I made a sole in SC to fit the bottom and attached it through the loops on the bottom. They are even more comfy to walk on and the sole can be replaced to extend the life of the slippers. Everyone loved their slippers, thank you for such a great pattern xox
@@StephanieZedI’m actually putting 2 medium yarns together for a chunky X wide and hoping I’m not going to be too huge hahahaaa -we shall see soon enough -this is crocheting up fast -thank-you very much !
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am running into a problem that I could use some help with. When moving forward to the sides, I noticed that you start at a different point than I do even when turning my work. I always end up near the sole of the slipper and begin with it first. No matter what, I end up having to crochet the top of the slipper
Great pattern. Already made a pair and soon others will follow.😍 Such wonderful gifts they'll be. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to learn to make them. ❤️
Belong to a knit and natter group , have just made a pair from all the scraps of double knitting , most interesting, shall do more .thank you really enjoyed the challenge

Excellent! I have used your original slipper pattern. It has always turned out looking very smart and uniform in shape👌. Thank you for sharing this pattern with the new heel. 👏
I just found your video and pattern and made a pair of the regular size in 6 bulky weight yarn. I have to say that this is one of the BEST and easiest patterns to follow and I think they turned out great! I will have to make a pair in my size to see how they feel. I am hoping the pair I just made will fit my mother in law. May be too big because she’s tiny. I used Bernat softee chunky and it’s really nice and soft to work with. Thanks a bunch for making and sharing this pattern and instructions!! Definitely a favorite!! I hope to make more once I get more yarn! ❤ Liked, saved and subscribed 😊
I love this very detailed video, and I love this slipper! 💝 Thank you so very much for this! I have a son who has a wide foot, size 16! I'm going to tackle this!
I’ve been using 13 count slipper only changer yarn size but I also changed colors and flower edging on the folded over top made it look really pretty and I also did the crab stitch on the boys and men or reverse crochet they do look awesome
Hi, I made more than 10 pairs following your original video with velvet yarn. I like your design, and I think it is the best in all aspects (I think it looks like the UGG booties). For larger boot I started with oval base instead of circle and it was very nice. Thank you very much for your tutorial.
@@brendatendam3002 Not as much as those on the tutorial. It looses elasticity after several washes, but I am still wearing those I made last winter. I chose velvet yarn because it is softer and wanted to wear the slippers without socks (acrylic/wool can be itchy in contact with bare skin).

@@StephanieZed I just wanted to say thank you. I've made two pairs of these - one pair for myself and one pair for my daughter who begged me to make her some as she loved my ones so much. I couldn't stop her from trying my ones on all the time. She's only four so I decided it would be better - and safer! - for her to have some of her own. Will give this a go. I think slippers are about the only thing I have not made.
Thank you for this pattern and your original 💜 I have made many pairs and they are a favorite to make and wear 😊
Thank you for sending me the link for a smaller version for a toddler sized slipper.
I used a 4mm hook but with aran yarn and ❤ how it turned out.
Now to complete the other side of the slipper.
Wish I could share the outcome with you.
I have since subscribed to your channel🌹😊
You can send me a picture on Instagram 😃
@@StephanieZedthank you and just literally uploaded to Instagram.
