Hickson Compact Group 40: A Flight Through Interacting Galaxies
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 кві 2022
- This visualization, which uses scientific data, begins by illustrating the location of the Hickson Compact Group 40 in the constellation Hydra. It then zooms into a lonely patch of sky inhabited by the close-knit group’s five galaxies. Finally, it shows a fly-through of this eclectic bunch - which includes three spiral-shaped galaxies, an elliptical galaxy and a lenticular (lens-like) galaxy - and how they are situated in relation to each other.

It just boggles my mind how you are able to reach out like that. Beautiful!
Oh yes, aren't these fantastic views of the Cosmos?
It makes me think of what it took to build such marvelous observation machines; this is the results of around 400 years of scientific research in optics (telescope building). Very many exceptional brains have worked their whole life in order that we could marvel at these images now. This is what human civilization is all about, every generations adding to the amount of knowledge accumulated; we're reaping the fruits of our ancestors toiling.
@@r2out it really goes back further than 400 years. Just the idea of looking and watching the sky at night (or during the day)was humankind wanting to reach and observe what is outside our reach. Discovering "Optics" was an enormous step forward.
Give me moooorrreeeee! More than 1 minute 30 seconds!
Right?! I think I watched this ten times in a row
i wish from the bottom of my heart it were possible.
Stunning. Thank you for creating this. ❤️
Beautiful thanks - more please!
Thank you so much!!! for sharing this remarkable video!!!!
Fantastico video 👏👏👏👏👏
Imagine how long it would actually take to make that journey.
Awesome….only shows just how much we still don’t know about our universe, let alone our planet Earth …. It boggles the mind….Humanity thinks it knows everything, yet it’s the ego that gets in the way of learning the truth…..HIGH 5
Hubble, I know you're gettin older but I still love you
Awesome video! Does someone have a tutorial to recommend for this kind of effect? I would like to apply something like that to my astro photos! Thank you for your reply :)
I don't think there's easy set of effect/filter you can apply to have this kind of video. You can make something called parallax effect. It involves marking part of image which should go in front and which behind them. For accurate parallax effect, you will need distance data. I think prof Frank Summer explained the process in one of the past video.
Grand 👌👌👌

Is this 4 galaxies about to merge?
Same question mine
There are seven galaxies - two of them hard to see. They will eventually merge, but not soon!
The article says that those four galaxies will have completely merged in one billion years from now.
do these galaxies belong to local group or some other group of Galaxies??
They belong to their own local group., not ours. :)
HCG 40 is seven galaxies 300,000,000 light years away which is 60 times further away than our Local Group. It is in a vast empty space & is its own 'group'.
"Ey man wtf is floating in space area"..."uhm yeah just ignore it dude "
wow
هذا خلق الله ❤️
😲😲😲😲😲👍❤
expansion univers théorie ?
I wish there were actual photos instead of this Jules Verne type "visualisation"
and around this tiny corner of our view there is vast infinity of space and stars and our creator who made and set this all into motion is the very spark that gives it life and holds it together in this amazing cosmic dance. thinking about space has always brought me to a humble acknowledgement of the absolute majesty of our creater father God
السلام عليكم ورحمه الله وبركاته
You can all thank GOD....daily. Because...Nothing comes from Nothing.
Lol is this supposed to be funny
Nah, it's supposed to be freaking awesome
What's funny in this video?
