Great review as always. Glad I went with the .3 after watching this. I got my 0.3 the other day. Finally got a chance to spray something other than base coat with it this afternoon. Sprayed some Golden Hi Flow Indigo straight from the bottle at 18 psi. No issues whatsoever. Cleaned it out and switched to Alclad black base gloss laquer at 12 psi. Laid it down super smooth and even. This brush atomizes EXTREMELY well even as low as 8 psi with the laquer. Very comfortable to me. A joy to paint with. Never saw this much brush at this price. Very happy with mine. Oh and its super easy to clean also. It does NOT feel like a 70 dollar brush for sure
Love these reviews great info and nice formatting. Glad I ordered the 0.3, got mine a couple of days ago but it will be Thursday before I get a chance to try it out. The price point for what you’re getting and how well it performs is impressive. Thanks for all the hard work on the reviews👍🏻
Loving the style of your latest reviews, showing absolutely everything. Its good to be educated while watching. Said it before, you are the Bob Ross of the airbrush world. Unlike me, but the swearing is getting less and less. As is the urge to impale my husband with my cheapo brush. All my hinting for the Ultra got me nowhere😂😂 I got an oversized hoody and a 2 litre hot water bottle. ........
Recieved my mobius 3.0 yesterday and I've already completed a painting with it. I agree the trigger on it is AMAZING. It felt like I was getting paint when I push down for air then I realized that's just how sensitive the trigger was. The paint release is easily on point with my Iwata Eclipse. I agree its a LOT of airbrush for the money. Worth every penny. I do think the needles are a little soft compared to others, even some of the cheaper brushes. I feel like I bent mine just pinching to remove tip dry. I agree its an easy to recommend purchase at the current prices. So far performance easily match the Iwata Eclipse, build is better than the cheap master ( $30 Amazon) air brushes but not as good as Iwata and H&S.
I couldn't believe the price of these brushes it's as you say ridiculously cheap so you get a lot of brush for your money and even from an untrained eye I can see that the way it gets those small dots and dagger strokes down is crazy it's like you are using a very fine pencil, great review Rob👏👌👍
They're cheap because they're made in China. Just like most stuff made in China, they are cheap junk. Any airbrush credibility Dred has, is pretty much gone after he's willing to promote these.
😱 well mukka I'm really surprised to see how well built that brush is for the price there asking and the looks of the performance is very accurate just hope the longevity of it is as good as it is when first out of the box , thanks mukka could tell a lot of work went into making this vid 😊😊😊😊
That's the test mate we will see in time that's why I bang on about h&s because I have 14 year ones and they are perfect thanks for the feedback and support Mukka
First, thank you for the review. Well done vid and balanced IMO. After 8 months now... Would you recommend the Mobiys as a beginner airbrush or another one in a similar price range?

It doesn’t matter which tip size you’re on. You may have stumbled on a better .2 or else on a flawed .3. Quality control is the main difference between cheap and expensive.
Hi Rob just a quick question on the Mobius , are the needles and front caps interchangeable on the two brushes ,ie could you change the whole needle set up from one into the other so you could for instance make use of the MAC valve on 0.2 using a .3 set up . cheers for all the work on the reveiws great work as always .
@@dredfxcustompaint thanks Rob , you and yours have an exceptional CHRISTMAS and a very productive and prosperous NEW YEAR . thanks for the super quick reply, ,sitting here scanning all the vids I can lol.; Merry Christmas . 🙃🤔😋
Hi I’m very undecided whether to buy a new H&S Evolution (2in1) or these 2 brushes from Gaahlery (0.2 and 0.3). What do you recommend? I hope your hands have not frozen (you are a airbrushes hero) and always thank you for your wonderful videos and tutorials
@@dredfxcustompaint But it's hard to justify $222USD for the Evolution as opposed to $65USD for the Mobius. I'm not new to modelling, but I am sort of new to airbrushing. I got a Mobius 0.3 a week or so after release, but haven't used it yet. Love your review! Scared to see if there are any burrs in mine.
Gaahleri look all singing and dancing And with the price tag everyone jumps on it .if you are in this for the long hall go h&s there brushes last just like the company has its been going 100years have a look at my latest video on h&s
@dredfxcustompaint leaning towards the .2mm, which do you thik is better for details, the .3mm or the .2mm arts and crafts/ large and small surfaces to cover? & Thank you again
Not gonna lie, it hurts a bit to see this airbrush have a better trigger than my H&S Infinity... (I tried the mod, didn't really make a difference I felt).

Yes totally agree the needles are soft on the gaahleri brushes it's good for the price point but doesn't take first place in brush line up for me
@@dredfxcustompaint Agreed, I'm glad I have a Mobius but definitely not first place in my brush line up.

Hello, in my opinion, the thread of the nozzle limits the possible loss during disassembly.

There were flawed .2 shipped in the beginning if you contact gaahleri they will replace the trigger.
Be interesting to know whether the defects in the 0.2 were random or if all the 0.2 brushes arent machined as well?
@@Compliment_Thief this was something I picked up on with it I think it's the chance you take when you buy a cheaper brush
