Great video again. Central is becoming a big issue for Merseyrail and the City I think. Undersized for the amount of people it serves and looking decades out of date. Needs a complete overhaul and potentially a second island platform and more track.
Thank you. I totally agree Central is totally overcapacity and only running mainly 3 car trains at the moment doesn't help with many of the old train gone to the torch. I was on the Northern Line mid-afternoon a couple of days ago and it was rammed. The new lift, which seems to be taking an eternity to build, don't really help flow, but is better than the world's slowest lift they have at the moment (I remember navigating it with my son when he was in a pram!). I get the feeling it isn't on Merseyrail's radar, but even a second entrance at the Hunts Cross end may help.
