Purchased my Viper Tenpoint last year. I really like all the tech they put into their crossbow and l am very satisfied………except for the crank storage holder on the bow. My hunting partner also has a Tenpoint and he told me NOT to keep the crank in the the storage spot, he told me if your walking through any brush or heavily covered terrain it will get caught on something and put out and fall. I forgot he told me that and while walking to my stand through some dense terrain it must have got caught, pulled out and fell to the ground and l didn’t notice it until l got to my stand. When l went to use it, ohhhh s___ it wasn’t there!!! So l had to backtrack and thankfully l found it. Now l never store it in the holder always in my backpack. So be aware unless they have added something extra on the new models to secure it better, because it will fall out it’s just a matter of time.
Reminds me of the Raven's draw system except quiet. I have the XRT. I got it a few months ago. To bad for me 😐. Trade in's? 🤔 I ended up getting everything separately that's included in the new "package". Just to show the power they both have.. The Kinetic energy is the same or more than a 157 grain 357 magnum bullet out of a carbine. (Not ft/lbs) Crazy!😳
A closer look at the ACUslide reveals the significant differences between it and other types of cocking devices on the market. The ACUslide is the only crank style device which was designed to be silent, simple, and totally safe to use. You can remove your hand from the handle at any point - whether cocking or de-cocking - and the handle will not get away from you and spin out of control. Additionally, the trigger box in the ACUslide locks into the same exact place each time the bow is cocked - which yields a consistent launch of the arrow each time it is shot. Our testing has shown that this consistency leads to tighter arrow groups downfield, as compared to our competition's crossbows. Additionally, our unique design of this mechanism allows for a greater number of shots to be taken with a set of string and cables. Our competition is getting somewhere around 200 shots maximum on average before a string and cables change is required - we are achieving 1300 shots on a string and cables prior to them needing changed.
Randy is a great met him and others at ten Point just ordered an upgrade from our Wicked Ridges to the Siege RS410
Just got mine last week. I'm loving it
