Wait what wait hang I have no idea who Mewithoutyou is. Do I need to go find out who that is?? Modest Mouse and Decemberists are probably my two fav bands, just saw MM last month and they were great.
@@Filmfinds1443 you should! They're not really similar to modest mouse or coheed lol except they came out of a similar underground scene around the same time! I'm gonna check out Decemberist because of you too!
@ hell yeah! Decemberists is folk rock heavy on the storytelling. I think the Crane Wife or King is Dead are good places to start, but to me their best album is Picaresque. 8 minute long sea shanty! 😂
This album seems to be shaping up to be a hard and heavy one. They have always mixed in some heavier tracks with some of the lighter ones you are used to. Should dive into them hard, you have missed a lot. A lot of really good stuff even.
It's wild that you fell off on their 2nd album and they're set to release their 11th album early next year. Easily my favorite band of all time and they have yet to release an album I'd rate less than an 8/10.
I know, right? Sad to say I did that a lot to bands I got really into in highschool. Like I would listen to The Unicorns constantly for maybe 8 months and then I haven’t listened since. It’s that ADHD hyperfixation
