TheLegend27 I frequent concord and that’s good to know. I want to go APR Stage 1 but I don’t want my clutch to burn out to quickly as a good replacement is gonna cost me 2 grand.
Generally speaking a stage 1 tune shouldn’t case clutch issues. Stage 2 needs an upgraded clutch

Slightly off topic, but I also recently had a 2018 Passat loaner car. It was fully loaded, which always helps, but honestly it was a great car. I almost wanted them to hold my GLI for an extra day. :)
It was nice but I prefer having my car. Felt weird because it was the same but different haha
So tell me this.. how are you still covered under warranty , with a apr tune etc
Depends on the mods that you have, the dealer that you go to, and the problem that you have.

That happened to my car as well it’s nothing to be worried about it happens to jettas because the water pump is made out of plastic but when te replace it they do it with a metallic one so you it should be fine for a long time

So did you buy an extended warranty or something? I thought it was til 36k miles.
Basic warranty is 3yr 36k miles and powertrain is 5yr 60k Miles

I know my dsg and water pump Arne snow covered...I wonder what the 36k covers.....kind of a hard question considering warranties are usually something dealers like to dance around...
Warranty doesn’t guarantee they’ll cover anything. So if that’s your goal I would say don’t tune or mod until your warranty is finished.
Whats the next engine upgrade
Not sure yet. I will probably lower my car before doing more engine mods
