- I’m making a guide or jig to help locate where the router bit will be cutting. This is a simple jig, every cabinet maker should have. It makes it easy and more accurate in placing dado’s in your boards. You should make one for yourself, it’s simple and easy to make and use.
Perfect
Exactly what i needed to know prior to making my daycare shelves. Thanks so much!
Thanks for a simple and functional jig
This is just what I've been looking for and much more suitable for my application than anything else I've seen. Thanks!
I’m glad it was helpful to you!
awesome jig….thanks Dan. I’m making this tomorrow to help on a project my wife and I are working on.
Excellent content and presentation. This jig works perfectly for not only dados but rabbets as well. Thank you Dan! Btw, love your shop-Lucky!
Simple and effective. Gonna build a couple of them. Thanx.

And what do you do when the piece being routered is taller than the T-square?
I make another longer T-square. I’ll make them to fit my needs.
