I think it turned out fantastic! It allows you to see the different levels of color each time you add a layer. Here's the link to the original video that I saw in case anyone is interested. ua-cam.com/video/AGM0BYc6fy8/v-deo.htmlsi=bbyo9tRUski82mzW Honestly, watching her videos has given me the confidence to play with watercolor! Talk about not being an artist. Had to take art in school and I dreaded that class. 🤫🫣😜
Love watching this Marion. I'm in the midst of organizing my craft office but somehow over winter it's taken on it's own mind. I'm usually an extremely organized case but somehow it's all slipped away if not slipped my mind. So understand the feeling you're organized and can't find it. Love this card & watching you create it. But I'm too impatient to fuss with that. I'm off to look at your last Pancake griddle post. I'm so into that.
Using the same products you use ( I clicked the links ) - loving all of them. Having so much fun “ playing” ( as I am a beginner). Learning so much here. Thanks Marion! (Janice from US)
So need the container that you have all your sentiments divided!! Gorgeous card, but was shouting at you at the start to mist your card before starting to put any inks on, cos of course Maz, if i shought, you will hear me lol 😆
Love the technique Marion and love the card, forgot to add I think you are artistic because you use artists techniques and make them usable for crafters whether using stamps or dies or mini pancake makers thank you. 👏❤️
I've just "organised" my craftroom as I've long covid and only had energy to do a bit of crafting then abandoning it. Piles of stuff everywhere. Anyway, took about a week and some things stayed in their original place and some moved. Feeling a bit better. I've tried to get back into making and I just can't find anything. Can't remember what I've moved and what's in the original place. I stand in the middle of the room twirling round. 😂
Was trying to remember what we used to tape the paper onto the board when I took watercolour classes years ago. I think it was painters' tape. It's low tack and able to withstand water. Your card is really pretty!
Marion darling, remember the sticky mat in your stamp wheel is EXCELLENT for inking, painting, stencils, etc. I bought the extra sticky one to hold my stencils and dies for ink blending! But the extra sticky for anyone to know, is only for very thick cardstock like Neenahs 110# weight which is 297gsm. Thinner cardstock is impossible to get off and a mess that rips to shreds. But it’s a great tool!
@@marionemberson absolutely! Now when you need to ink a small die cut or anything you have the tool right there! Some ppl put it ontop of their misti so they can turn it as they color. But you can put it on anything or just leave it in the Stampwheel. I only have the sticky mat. You will love that! You’ll be thanking me for that tip! lol luv you!
@@marionemberson oh! You ordered a second one? I didn’t mean for you to spend money on another one just use the one you have! I hope I didn’t cost you extra money. But now you can have to for the stamp wheel. Did you get the regular or the extra sticky? I hope the regular. I tried a thinner cardstock on mine because I forgot it was for the Neenah cover weight, and it came off in pieces like peeling a label off! I had to go wash it off! Make absolutely sure you keep both acetates to put back on it for storage and back in the cello bag. And don’t do what I did! LOL! 🙄 I thought the grid side went up so you could use the grids. I used paste on that the first time and it got in every crack of the grid! Lesson learned! I’m so excited for you! You can lay it right ontop of your Misti or Stampwheel to turn it if coloring. It’s great for little dies. You must tell me honestly if you like it after a while. But I was just talking about using the one you had. But 2 of a good thing is always better! Who eats 1 cookie? 😂
I don't think you need to be an artist/watercolorist to manage to cover a piece of paper in blotches of color 😂 You're needlessly worried about the things you can't do. Obviously you can do it just fine! You would get cleaner edges if you let it dry completely between layers. You have no idea how much time we spend waiting for paint to dry!
"I'm all organized, but I don't know where anything is!" Story of my crafty life!😂
😂😂😂😂
That’s me, embossing folders are easy, it’s the stamp sets…

Ohh I love that 🤗🤗🤗
If you look up artist, you are an artist! You are a very good artist.
I always think of artists as people who can draw and paint things like fine art. But I do love playing with different mediums 🤗🤗🤗
Just found your vids this week and am loving them. Binge watching them 😂 x

Fab card Marion, the Eucalyptus colour is absolutely gorgeous, would you use it again as more of a feature on a card please? 😊
It’s lovely isn’t it, I do use it a lot for leaves, I’m sure I have videos using but there’s too many to go through for either of us 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰🥰

Brilliant, although did you really need to be careful going round the hearts after they had been embossed? surely it would act as a resist
Hi, It did act as a resist, to a degree, but you can get little gals and I was trying to avoid those 🥰🥰🥰
Where did you get the container for your sentiments
I got them from Amazon UK they’re really for holding photos 🤗🤗🤗
@@marionemberson thanks, I will check Amazon here in the states
You fake very well!! Don’t be hard on yourself ❤
I was holding my breath for fear you were going to blow into that open jar of embossing powder! 😉
😂😂😂😂 done that before 🫣🫣😂😂🥰🥰
😂 Marion, what I told you?! It's not: 'bad at it' it is: 'artistic interpretation'! 😂 Looking forward to the next one 😉
