Wish that was my 67 you guys were working on. I been keeping an eye on Airkewld since your first air ride suspension on a VW was showcased in VW Trends Magazine Way back in the 90's. 🤩🤩 Was really innovative back then. Some of the best suspension products avalable for VW today. Finally able to afford your products for my 67. 👍👍👍
That's badass Pete thank you for sharing that... maybe bring mine over there and get you to put your Twist..... on my all my 👍👍👍👍 that is a badass ride
Super Nice. Great work! Also very interested in the oil filter bracket. That was on my list to mock up and go to a metal shop to have one made but if you sell that one I’ll buy one for sure!
Hi , Very nice install , I do have the same engine Bergman shroud , let me ask you how many feet of hose do I need to install a air breather and did you use (5) 3/8 45 and one straight one fittings ?
What size of tires are the rear? I have a 67 as well I want to make sure I get the correct size so it won’t rub with the fender while it’s tucked in. Thanks good video as always!
Looks great, Pete. I have a few questions, if you don't mind: - What brand hose and AN fittings are you using? - What type of thread sealant do you use? - If running a standard doghouse fan shroud, how do you propose routing the hoses from the oil cooler to the engine compartment? - Did you eliminate or relocate the fuel filter? If relocated, what filter did you use? - I noticed no cooling tins under the push rod tubes. Are they not required when running the 911-style cooling system? Sorry for the list, but "you're the man!"
I tried watching but going from speaking at normal level to unnecessary loud music and back again, had me killing all sound typing this and removal of subscription...
Hey Redd, didn't know if you caught it or not, but that film was 2 years ago. We have learned a lot on the platform. Check out some of our latest work to see how we have fixed a bunch of these things. Happy Holidays.
Awesome vid... adding that to my list of upgrades. 👍
Awesome work Pete! Great work and I greatly respect the high-end work that you do at Airkewld!
That is a beautiful engine! Those fittings are super clean. Great video.
siete bravissimi. quanto potrebbe venire a costare finita, una beetle cosi bella, complimenti..
That car is bad ass and you guys do such bad ass work! One request, flip the flag around so the blue field is on the left. Much respect to your shop!

What are those wheels on this bug, those are badass!!, 17" s?
Link for the wheels are in the description Mark. Let me know if that works.
Everything looks super nice. Now imagine if you put a Porsche turbo engine in it.
What if I told you it had Porsche rods in it?
Airkewld that’s even better, haha. I’m a car enthusiast and that’s music to my ears.

Earls, -8 German Braided hose for the breather, Parker braided push lock for the oil system. Teflon tape
Route the hoses just like this video for an external cooler via full flow mod.
The client had one up front and one in the back, fuel filters. Eliminated one.
Does anyone know what type of oil sump that is?
Won’t a sharp rock stuck in the tire tread be flung hard against that oil filter???
An angry red headed wife can do more damage, or a cat with some unclipped claws, both of which you want to avoid.
Airkewld Just don’t get them angry! Stay safe, God bless....😂
AS ALWAYS PETE!
ANOTHER EXTREMELY BITCHIN RIDE.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 💪
ALWAYS SUPER FUN TO SEE YOUR VIDEOS AND AMAZING WORK 👍
Thx Joel!
You can’t find things like that here at philippines
We share the passion for the Volkswagen, but....damn! that music, I feel like Im in the Highschool Musical 13:03, are u a teenager?
Yes, yes I am.
@@AirkewldVWs Ohhh, okay, that explains it. Enjoy then...
When you turn 60, that music will be "your classics" LMAO.
@@amezcarl Thanks for the tip!
If it’s so cool why doesn’t it have smoothies??
It doesn't have to have Smoothies to be cool.
