I find it utterly amazing that you guys evolutionarily developed gills just so you could do these reviews under water. I applaud your advance humaness.
LL Cool J is a fabulous Final Girl. He survived Michael Myers and genetically engineered sharks within 2 years!!! Also, why did I read that tagline as "Harder Better Faster Stronger!"?
I think the phrase "my hat is like a shark's fin" is supposed to mean that, when you see his hat moving through a crowd of people it should convey the same danger as seeing a shark fin in the water. It's a stretch, but definitely something that could have been conveyed in the music video if they hadn't decided to go with the 90s hiphop meets Busby Berkeley meets "we have this set and by god we're gonna use it" thing that it was.
As much as I don’t want to trash the Science of your upcoming Shark Space astroid film, maybe it would be better if it was the shark egg cases instead of a fully adult shark because then as it’s egg cases you can say they were effect by space and it’s very easy to make sequences
In the HDTGM episode about Deep Blue Sea, Jason Mantzoukas reveals that if you type Stellan Skarsgard into Word, it autocorrects to "stellar skateboard" and that still makes me laugh to this day.
As a marine scientist who works on sharks, no matter how bad the science is, I love this movie anyway! Also, sleeveless wetsuits or like thermal vests are sometimes worn because they keep your core warm. Usually you layer them under other gear. I have a shirt that I wear for dives that is thermal on the core and normal sleeves, but it really makes a major difference. There are so many ways I could destroy this film but I just suspend disbelief and enjoy it.

"My hat is like a shark's fin" is a lyric from his 80's hit, "I'm Bad." In the video, he dons a Kangol which sorta looks like a shark's fin slicing through the crowd.
This movie taught a young me that when a character is shot the way Sam Jackson is shot during his monologue, there will be a jump scare and someone will probably die! This movie was groundbreaking!😂😂🦈🦈
When I just saw the title, I thought it was the Paul Walker and Jessica Biel movie, I was like, I remember a shark scene, but I don't think it's a Shark movie XD. but oh this movie was something!!
So, I have a question. The sharks featured are mako sharks and I just read that in captivity, they fare the worst of all the breeds. Like the last mako that was in captivity lasted 5 days. So is it the super intelligence is making them ok or am I thinking too much about this dumb movie? Great review guys!
The only thing people remember about this absolutely terrible move is how Sam Jackson kicks the bucket. haha I hope you guys get around to reviewing Sharktopus!
Speaking of Paul Walker you have to absolutely see Tammy and The T-Rex. It is Paul Walker's first movie or one of them he is like 17 and Denise Richards. I wont say anymore because it is too bonkers to spoil. It is terrible and awful but campy and "scary" and fun.
No, you are totally wrong. This is not a normal horror movie like Jason, because a secondary black character lives at the end. Conclusion: this horror movie was ahead of its time.
