    I’ve listened to this meditation 50+ times and now I’m able to imagine the chimes and get to the beach on my own for mini self-guided meditations! I still listen to this one, it will always be my favorite. I recommend it to friends too! Thank you Suzanne!!!

    Hello!!! My name is Julia, and I am a homeschooled 13 year old girl taking very hard classes. I am taking AP courses in the 9th grade, when I am supposed to be in the 8th grade. It is very hard for me to concentrate- it has been ever since I started homeschooling. My procrastination has been extremely hard, and after barely getting any work done today, I was feeling devastated. I watched your video and feel very good. I think this will help me- in a few days I will reply to my own comment and tell you if my procrastination is finally under control. Gosh I hope it is. Thank you.💜 I am subbing.

      +Julia B Hi Julia, I wish you the best with your studies. You may find listening to the recording once an day for a while may be most helpful. Also focusing on what motivates you to get it done instead of having to get it done is a great way to change your perception around your school work. I wish you the best and admire you for taking this on all on your own :)

    Thank you and yes i did get things done yesterday so very happy... I like how the energy behind your words once on the beach and the speed of it is fine for me in reference to someone elses comment about you being too fast, I liked it it was get up and go... it motivates me big time
    Today went extremely well also, I would have liked to have done more but what I did achieve was pretty big and worth the time ... lol happy very happy

    Suzanne, this has been the most challenging of your sessions and I found it rather difficult to experience. Your audio changed from the position of your body and the nearness to your microphone and the session went from a gentle pace to an aggressive reading pace as you went through the suggestions. I would like to suggest that you re-record it or at least listen to it and see if there is anything to my comments. I do enjoy working with you on so many of your recordings and I thank you very much.

      I have to agree...it went from a relaxed pace to an intense pace at 16:44 - it sounded like an edit occurred and the vocal tone and pace changed. It was no longer relaxing and seemed very much rushed, like a time limit had to be reached.

      Sorry you did not like it. I will check it out when I have time and maybe re-do one for procrastination. It was one of my first and at that time I was feeling like I had to keep it short so people would listen. Thank for taking the time to write and let me know.

      +schmiddy1998 Maybe try to do it at a different time of day, or change how you are sitting or laying. I recommend doing these in the morning :) Good luck :)

    Hey Suzanne, this video in particular is one that I really needed, but I have really bad ADHD, so it can be hard for me to keep my focus. (Hence my issues with procrastination) I’ve watched this video a few times now and definitely gone under, but everything always gets kinda blurry after I’m done descending and i get on the beach, if that makes sense. I’m new to guided meditations/hypnotherapy, and I was wondering if it’s okay if my mind kinda blanks during the “important” part with the affirmations? It really does kinda feel like I’m in a trance, but it also feels like I’m not completely processing everything. Should I be paying closer attention to your words, or will hearing them in this state sorta stay with me subconsciously? I know I’m supposed to be letting go and letting my mind free, but I’m worried I might be letting my mind a little “too” free to get the most out of the meditation. Any tips?

      Hi Connor, I get what you are saying for sure. It is believed that your subconscious mind will pick the suggestions up and with repetition hold on to them, but there are so many factors that can make this a bit more challenging for some people. I personally like to get into the "space" where I am still aware of the suggestions because I believe the feelings we have while focusing on the suggestions helps to ingrain them deeper and faster. See if you can try not to drift off for that part, at first it may seem like you are not going as deep but just play with it a bit. This will be good for you to help affirm that you are in control of what you think and what you focus on. I am sure it is a bit harder with ADHD, let me know how it goes! I hope this was helpful :)
