I would suggest getting him to one nap only, like after lunch around 12 or 1! Having him sleep until 8 pm is way too late! I remember my pediatrician always telling us they should never sleep later than 4 or 5 pm.
I've got 4 children and definitely dropped it to one afternoon nap by kaydens age, I found they go bed earlier and sleep through better because they're so tired x
My son is a few weeks older than kaden and he’s down to one nap as well. Gets up at 730am naps from 11-130/2 then in bed around 830. And he tends to sleep through the night no problem that way.
^ agree!!! My little one only has one nap since ur old and it’s around 1130/12-1/2pm she sleeps at night very well. Not sure why she lets him nap so late!!

She won’t listen to anyone telling her that Kaden needs to drop to 1 nap. A lot of people have tried telling her , but she keeps pushing him to nap so that she doesn’t have to deal with him and this chick wants more children .

Blood pressure meds make you so tired. I was on them for a little while and could barely do anything. I’m glad she’s able to function somewhat. I can imagine how tired she must be

FYI - you aren't supposed to use to thieves cleanser to clean your diffusers. I did that and ended up having an issue with my diffuser. Unfortunately, I did not read the guide for my diffuser. My warranty was voided because you're supposed to use rubbing alcohol. Just FYI I don't want someone else to go through that. I was like what!!!

It’s the brand young living, I’d just get a diffuser from home goods or Walmart.
it’s an MLM that she is a sales representative with, same brand as all those essential oils.
I wouldn’t fall for it, you could most certainly find a way better looking and functioning diffuser off amazon or a local store.
If you are just wanting a quality brand - I recommend Sage Wellness. I don’t know if they have stores in the US but they have amazing essential oils and diffusers for fairly inexpensive and are a very popular retailer here in Canada. I literally have one in every room of my house.

When my son turned 1 i transitioned him to 1 long nap a day only. He naps at 12pm-3pm and stays up until night time.

Hey Meg! Long time viewer, but I don’t comment often. Just wanted to say that I love all the vlogs lately. Yours are the first ones I click on bc they are so down to earth and relatable. It’s nice to see someone that is Mommin on a budget, vlogging without makeup, and just keepin it real.
My dentist gave me a piece of advice that I thought I’d pass along. He said that it’s best to brush babe’s teeth before bed (after he finishes his bottle). Drinking milk, juice, etc (basically anything other than water) after brushing teeth can cause issues with his teeth. Please don’t think I’m trying to criticize your parenting... I did the same thing with my little one until he told me about the risks. Only sharing because I’d hate to see your little guy have problems. 💙💙 your fam!

Girl I have 5 kids, stop with more than one nap and no naps past 3ish idk what you’re paying that sleep consultant for because they’re messing your world up. He should wake up around 8-9 one mid day nap and up by 3ish and to bed 830ish (times are just examples) not being hateful but he’s over a year old now he should be active during the day sleeping through the night waking up and going to bed at decent times

"Should." No. Children are all different. I was still taking a nap in Kindergarten but my brother stopped before he was even in preschool. My youngedt child takes 3 naps a day (and still sleeps through the night) when most are down to 2. You're not helping by trying to fit every child into the standard mold.

I feel like you add a lot of oils! I only add like 3-4drops max ! I mainly don’t add a lot to not have it as strong ( for my plants and cats) I also make sure to have it blowing somewhere they will not go by at all

Just curious if you have had your thyroid checked? You have a lot of symptoms of it being off. I was diagnosed when my son was 18 months old and was advised child birth isn’t the only cause but the #1 cause of thyroid issues. Usually diagnosed when your child is 18 to 24 months. Should look into it if you haven’t already.

When my son was napping like that I just dropped the first nap! Nap from 12-2 or 3 and bedtime is amazing 🤩 it’s hard at first if they’re used to that mornjng nap but a snack and getting outside helps my almost 2 year old! We start bedtime around 6:30 asleep by 7!!
