@@aj897 that is completely false, responsible show breeders price their dogs at a reasonable price. Any dog above 4 thousand is fraud. All my quality show dogs where around 3 thousand, but of course a long waitlist, an interview and a contract

Umm I thought cropping the ears and tails were not allowed... im new to this community and just doing a little research. Any information on this breed would be appreciated.
That's in those communist countries in the Euro Zone that do not allow Cropping & docking I own a Doberman here he is: he is 7 years old now ua-cam.com/video/aVbF7fLe5PM/v-deo.html
I feel so sorry for these show animals, especially the Doberman. Their training and grooming outside the shows are such that they don’t get to live the lives their breed represents. Working class breeds can’t risk being hurt in a real life situation like working on a farm or with the police or military. Dobermans need a lot of physical and mental challenges to live up to their potential but to be in a show it’s completely different. All the animals are beautiful but you should be asking if they’re happy.
Man my Doberman will kill these ones one day.. That’s really not the best training if we dive into the nuance you are literally dragging the dog down the track .. much props to her for getting to this point this is so much work and effort but I see room for improvement. Is there a reason why all these show dogs are all male? This female I have is killing the males she’s got Tyreek Hill type of agility with no mods ready to go full gas.. Now I just need to work on her not treating me like Marty McFly at the end of the year ball. She loves to spin your boy like a top. It’s all in the game tho, I will check back with a status report when I have new pertinent information. God speed
Not all show dogs are male, the number one doberman in the us right now is female, my doberman who I show is a female as well. However I have no idea what the rest of your comment is trying to say…
Absolutely. Bred the sharpness and health right out in favor of perfect conformation. AKC sucks. I have raised 3 of them, and I adopted a 9 yo AKC national conformation champion who had been given to a Doberman rescue (too old to breed) and she also had Wobbler's. So the "responsible" breeding was knowingly putting sick dogs out and charging premium prices for this champion showline. 2 of my four loves had Wobbler's. They also had numerous other maladies, which these breeders do not care about. If they are DNA "health tested" and DCM, Von Willebrand's, thyroid or any other of the endless list of hereditary issues show up, they still breed them. Some even switch papers and lie to the customers about it. It isn't just the backyard breeders, it is definitely the greed of the AKC. This dog is the best in everything, now it is the sickest and life expectancy is barely 7. I will not have another dog, because they are simply the best, but the most heartbreaking, too.
@@TSeeker1 ironically it’s not perfect confirmation it’s the north American version.. the way the dog is bred is not realistic for protection.. look at pictures of Real Workinh Ln., Dobermanns.. very few, and far between exist.. @@Blairdobe I’m not talking about the standards.. they bred the aggression way down to where they are horrible working dogs. What a loving giving breed.
So gorgeous
Angels on 4 legs❤❤❤

Age of the dog?
Unfortunately they have a bad reputation. These are amazing dogs.

We have same dog
Ok
You have a normal doberman, this is a show tier doberman, not the same lol

It’s the standard in america.
Depends where you live to whether it’s legal or not.
All mine are cropped and docked here in TX. I actually dont know any without C/D. Maybe in the BYB world they exist?

No cropping or docking in Europe.

the new doberman designer doggie is Doberdoodle. it has extreme curly hair and nice temperament.
Ew no. No mutt can be better than the original. There is no way to ethically breed doodle mutts. Gross that you would support that.

These American dogs, are a shell of their former self. It’s a disgrace what they did to this breed in North America.

The American and European standards are almost identical. The dogs shouldn’t look different.
