Maybe I don't "get it", but to me this was boring. The best way to describe it is impersonal. Instead of "come along and join my adventure", it's "look, I'm doin' stuff". No engaging the audience with what gear you use and why it's necessary. Fortunately I've seen the outdoor videos that "are boring with talking" or I wouldn't have understood the gathering of spruce for tea. As it was I guessed you were looking for material to use to cushion your bed from the hard ground.
