I appreciatte your video giude! My Dokker 1.5 dci no DPF, but needs just 4.5-4.7 liters of oil. is possible to have a 1L difference just becouse of DPF?
Sure, the engine is working harder with a DPF in the exhaust line because more fuel is being burned during the regeneration process. Therefore the engine oil suffers more so they put a bigger oil pan on those engines as it takes more 'effort' to get a greater amount of oil dirty.
Just put 4.7 liters in and look at your dipstick. If it's a bit above the max level, crank the engine, wait for 5min and check it again. Look for the oil pressure lamp to go out and turn it off again. If it's below the max level mark, you will problably need the 5.7 liters. That's the fastest way to figure it out. I can also check it out on my software for you but these days there's to much time wasted I believe looking for info while the old school techniques are way faster, more efficient. And besides that, even the expensive information contains a lot of faults. Brands intentionally create them as well so you become 'obligated' to go to the official brand garage.
@@demonautomotive2726 good morning, I have seen the previous service invoices, it shows rn tech c5 elf elite 0w20 5.7 liter oil, from 4 years to now, so I added up to 5.7 liters
@Robertoblimordor-qh6wb In what area do you live? I use 5w30 for most of these engines, RN17 is the spec by Renault. 5w30 Is a good oil for diesels in area's that go from -30 Celsius to +30 Celsius. It's stated in your manual btw.
No that's not correct, recommend is 5w30 RN17, 0w40 RN17 and also 0w20 RN17 FE. Untill 19/07/2020 5.7 liters (filter change incl) and from 20/07/2020 5.9 liters. Just looked it up for a 2020 1.5bluedci K9k engine.
I have the same car 2019 model and they did very bad dipstick oil i can barley understand something. They just did aluminium dipstick its really stuiped
