I'll never get to sail one but absolutely love seeing the engineering that goes into these amazing wind powered speed machines

“Go fast, but be ready to save the boat.” This is the mantra of every ocean sailor. Bring it to the limit, but just. 🙂

That feeling when you’re crawling on a net with the sea rushing by just below you at 30 knots...

Wow this epic footage. The new Cab forward design looks fantastic. The new boat is surprisingly roomy inside.

We have a traditional rig (full keel cutter) and are also planning a 40 day passage. Except this 40 day passage will be our returning transatlantic passage and not all the way around the world 🤪

He actually said "the sail plan is pretty conventional", which it is. It has a mainsail and a headsail. It's a sloop ring. The mainsail is not a wingsail, and has three reef points.

Imagine having the coin and the craziness to own something like this and converting it to a cruiser 😁 I mean fully decked out for comfort, push button winches, full set of furling sails... Sure it wouldn't go as fast as the raw example but it'd be one hell of a passage maker🤘🥳

    • @LoanwordEggcorn

You see more capsized multihulls than monohulls. Because the monohulls sink when rolled, you don't see them.
