Came out beautiful. I love how you don't purchase new parts and you use what is available when possible. That is in the spirit of original old school "hot rod" building. As someone who has been doing it for 50 plus years you have my respect and appreciation for your channel. Another point, you're one of the few who get into the silly nonsense, I really appreciate that. Videos for grown people.

Hey Brent, I've TIG welded miles of stainless and mild steel pipe, sheet, and plate, I've got a trick for you for when you're butting two sheets as you did on the floor tunnel: Clamp a flat aluminum backer bar tightly and directly behind the area you're seaming together, it will do a couple things. It keeps atmosphere away from the back side of your weld reducing oxidation, and it sucks the heat out of the finished weld to reduce hardening of the adjacent metal due to expansion/contraction induced stress. It will make any further planishing easier because the area won't harden as much. This also works well on corner seams by using pieces of aluminum angle. The steel won't stick to the aluminum. I keep a metal box of small bits of aluminum bar and shapes handy to use for this. Love your work, best regards.

Master cylinder pushrods give me the shakes. My first car --a 66 Mustang with the fruit jar master cylinder had a bushing and a cotter pin. My buddy who helped build the car put the master in. On day, I went to pick up tuxedo's for a friends wedding. I was coming down a hill and the pedal dropped to the floor (he forgot to pin the pushrod)! The light had turned red, I cut the wheel as hard as possible, caught the curb and blew the tire. I then shot up on to the opposite sidewalk and was trying to slow down when an old lady started coming out of a store. A yelled at the top of my lungs: Look out! She dove back in the store and I wedged my Mustang between a hydrant and store front window. When the police officer arrived he just stood back and said: "Kid, that's the best piece of driving I've ever seen!" A $25.00 defective brake ticket, bent control arm, a new tire and a wrinkled fender was a small price to pay! Since then I'm the one who puts the master cylinder in!

That's why you always make sure the emergency brake works. had front drum on my 67 dodge pickup bust when hit brake pedal at red light and cars were coming onto the four lane I hit the ditch cleaned it out and finally drove it up on bank to keep from hitting any of the cars. after I shaked the load out of my paints took vicegrips clamped brake line closed filled master back up drove it home so since then everything gets emergency brake .

Find a bolt pattern axle that fits your wheel, make sure it doesn't have any wobble and then mount the wheel on. Once you're happy with where it is, bring a plasma torch, and something to make sure it doesn't move from where you set it, place it where you wanna do the cut, start it, and give the rim a spin. Repeat with donor wheel.
IF i were you, i'd cut it where the metal starts bowing inside to where the stud flat is. That way, when you go to weld it, you can add another plate inside from the back, which can stiffen up the weld, and remove stress cracks down the road. Regardless, yeah, rear wheels only. Welded wheels work, until they don't and when they don't, you're just there for the ride. :)
