Thank you, Thank you.. - for sharing the Walker's Cay Chronicles episodes with us again - they have been missed. (I look forward to viewing again all of them that you are able to share)
Ive fished that spot with a fly rod from a flats boat. Wild ride. Other boats lining up wondering how i caught a fish and theyre getting swamped. Then i wale up from the dream with a drool aoaked pillow.
1st time surfing was right in-front of that lighthouse..i camped overnight on that sand cliff right in the back of my wagon.... we woke to that golden sunglaze long island was so famous for.... "the gold coast" as it were,..... i learned to fish here in this magical place.. im an islander relocated to florida.... i miss this place....tight lines to all youse folks out here .... flip was my fav fisherman/writers on tv..wish i could have fished with him.
I remember this show is one I started watching when I was 10 or 12. I am 32 now. This is crazy to see this now and makes me feel like a kid again. I just remember I stopped watched because I hated seeing just fly fishing but I respect fly fisherman so much. Now all I need is Addictive Fishing and Andy Saltwater Fly? And my fishing teenage years are back
So a long time ago......Flip Pallot Islamorada late 90's me in a real sit-in Kayak getting pulled around by a 160 lb tarpon. True Nantucket Sleigh ride. Flips charter practically standing and cheering in Flips flats boat for my battle with the Tarpon. Other people following to watch the fight. Flip Pallot would never acknowledge or give a thumbs up.His charter slip must have been close to my hook-up spot by Channel 2 Islamorada. More than one morning i was hooked up and he ignored me. That's Flip and the little guy..Is he still alive?
I remember seeing this episode when it originally aired. Still the best thing to watch on Saturday mornings.

The humpback feed on bunker in Montauk. 99 percent of the time they feed here.
Its a shame they never made the Striper a gamefish in the late 90s when they cam back strong from the moratorium. Fools
