I LOVED zoey and mike, they were my favorite couple bcuz of how accepting zoey was with mikes disorder even after mal she still loved him plus they were (in my opinion) the most healthiest relationship on the show zoey was loyal towards mike whenever one of his other personalities was shown and mike always kept her safe and they didn’t fight for stupid reasons like all the other couples. Neither of them were toxic to the other or manipulative in any way they were so good to each other

I loved the musical theme with World Tour, but was so turned off by the Gwen/Duncan/Courtney love triangle and All Stars ruined it further, while completely destroying Duncan’s character...

Mccree Legend before World Tour and All Stars I just had mixed feelings on Duncan there were times where I liked him and times where I couldn’t stand him. After those 2 seasons he lost all chances of me liking him.

Duncan x Courtney will always be my #1 ☺ I know they were derailed in the second and third season but I know they could have been so much more. My theory is that it was the network's request for Duncan x Gwen to become canon that started the downward spiral for that couple. Duncan x Courtney was my first OTP and still is to this day. Duncan and Courtney's first kiss was the sweetest thing ever, it makes my heart melt every time 😍 Even as a hardcore Duncney shipper, I could see the potential in Gwuncan but the good moments they could have had were (most of the time) overshadowed by the love triangle. I also like Trent x Gwen and Alejandro x Heather. I think Scott x Courtney and Crimson x Ennui are underrated.
I loved both Duncney and Scottney, I refused to even acknowledge Gwuncan as an option because I didn't like Gwen anyway (her character always confused me, she complained about having no friends but was horrible to everyone???)
@@zaptrollwen I liked Gwen in season 1 but I agree that her character definitely downgraded over time, along with Duncan and Courtney's character. I, personally, think it was because of the network request that all their character's got derailed, but that's just my personal theory.

@@tiggthetigger1582 I think a lot Total Drama couples would be considered toxic by real-life standards, even fan favorites like Heather x Alejandro. But I understand why you feel that way, even as a Duncney shipper myself. I know some Duncney shippers liked the dysfunctional relationship in the second season but I definitely did NOT. I just feel that Duncan x Courtney had so much more potential as a couple than what they got. Same with Scott x Courtney and Trent x Gwen. I, personally, feel it was manipulative writing due to the network request for Gwuncan to become canon that ruined Duncney. I feel we would have saw Duncney in a better light if it weren't for that request. That's just my personal theory, though.

Strong list but I would have put Crimson and Ennui in the top 3. Hell no one even guessed they were a couple until they said it, they never fought once, and were willing to keep their relationship alive after they saw each other un gothed.
Same. I got disappointed when they just got an honorable mention. I love the contrast of being depressed pessimistic goths, yet still shows love to each other. My favorite is when Crimson risks breaking the rules just to let Ennui experience being dragged inside a coffin.
They can't even look to each other's real faces because they disgust them, they are a great team but as a couple... No way

I’m so glad everyone here is with Courtney x Duncan! I thought it was only me, and I nearly decided to quit watching the show when I saw gwuncan, but honestly, y’all are amazing for agreeing.
I know they spent an entire season as just best friends, but I wanted Carrie and Devin to be on the list. They got together at the end and they were the reason I watched The Ridonculous Race in the first place.

Tbh out of all the couples I likes Courtney and Duncan cause there love was unxpected. A grew over time. Gwen in trent it was obvious that they liked eacother. I’m really surprised Duncan/Courtney arent #1. Yeah, they ended badly and didn’t get back together at all, but you can’t deny they were the most POPULAR all through the series. It was insane. (And yes, I was one that also shipped them but then I leaned more towards Scott/Courtney because what Duncan didn’t like about her, Scott does).
Gwen/Trent were really sweet back in the day but they never mentioned anything else after they broke up. Trent’s break up song during the Aftermath episode was really cute.
I just wanna comment as well, I really shipped Scarlett/Max back when the last season came out XD
They said they wanted 10 seasons of Total Drama but it just ended to give way to TotalDramaRama, which just Sucks.

Courtney is so unbelievably toxic and self centred, doubt she could respect Duncan well enough. Trent and Gwen suit eachother fine. Gwen and Duncan is fine too.

Everyone's talking about Duncan and Courtney or Gwen and Trent, and here I am just appreciating Harold and Leshawna's respect for each other despite it being questionable if they're a couple or not. Like, Harold probably doesn't know how to deal with something as serious as a romantic relationship, and is still learning how to comprehend her boundaries. Leshawna probably does have genuine romantic feelings for Harold, but as she said, not only did they proceed with things too fast, but maybe she doesn't want something that serious to be put on reality television, and that's why we don't see much of them together on screen.

definitely gotta be Mike and Zoey for me, but I love Gwen and Trent. That was a beautiful relationship and it should've lasted. Gwen and Duncan should've never been a thing.

My issue with total drama couples is that aside from heather and Alejandro, Harold and Leshawna and Tyler and Lindsey, most of the couples were compromised of decent girls who had terrible taste in men

Well, Sierra was even WORSE in season 5, when Mal broke her cellphone and she started hallucinating. Then CAMERON, the most innocent little bean on the show, had to deal with it instead. I still really like Sierra's character tho, since she's a really smart and strong competitor. At least it's not like Skye and Dave

When the Izzy and Owen relationship came I remembered how that episode almost got me to tears in the song
