Great vid! You hit my favorite feature: THE DIAL. You're right, it's beautiful. I will buy it, if I find a good deal. But now I'm hesitating between Tissot Seastar and Seiko Samurai Save The Ocean...
Had mine for 2 years and only problem for me was the crown. Of all my watches, it's the only one where the crown keeps being stripped so that I can't screw it down anymore. I've had to replace the crown three times now. Nonetheless, it's gorgeous and despite my experience, it's still my most complimented watch (I got the blue on blue).
Wow, I'm sorry you had that many problems with the crown. The funny thing is I thought the crown and winding action of it was one of the best out of all my watches, including watches that are more expensive in my collection. I've been fortunate not to have any problems with it. It's definitely a killer dive watch, and I absolutely love it. Hope you have better luck with yours in the future, thanks for tuning in!

which one is better Tissot T-Sport Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80 Blue Dial Black Rubber or Seiko Prospex SPB125J1 Automatic Black Series? and what is the price of the items
Hi! Unfortunately, I have no experience with the Seiko you mentioned. As a brand, I am not a huge fan of Seiko due to some of their quality control issues. I would much prefer to purchase watches from Tissot or even Citizen before Seiko, but thats just my opinion.
Nice video bro. I was thinking of buying the all black colour in the same model but I'm afraid of the durability of the black pvd coating. What do you think, how long could it last if used daily ?
I am honestly not sure. I've never owned a black PVD coated watch until recently with my islander watch, so I can't speak of long term durability. What I can say is that Tissot in general makes really good, reliable watches that last a long time. Hope that helps!
Silicium on the new Tissot Seastars is a better option, mostly because a Silicon balance spring has better shock resistance as well as resistance to magnetism. The rotating bezel is supposed to act as a timing device if you are compression diving, but I've never used it, so unfortunately there isn't much more info I can give you there.
Absolutely! I removed the rubber strap this past summer and put it on a Milanese bracelet. Do be advised though that the lug width is 21mm, so strap options aren't as readily available. Thanks!
It is, but its a 21mm lug width, so strap options are limited. I actually just purchased a Milanese for this watch, that I am still waiting for. Hoping to class it up a bit. Thanks!
As of now I don't have that watch in my collection. I typically review watches that have been in my collection or passed through it at some point. If I get my hands on one, you can be sure that there will be a future review. Thanks for tuning in!

I was also looking for the Tissot V8 swissmatic (tissot v8 t106.407.16.051.00) too.... So In simple terms, I should go for this one as the V8 cannot be repaired right?
@@sauravsarker9945 that is correct, to my understanding. Those Swissmatic, Sistem51 based movements are hermetically sealed and cannot be serviced. Tissot has launched some newer models. The newest ones have 500m water resistance, as well as updated ceramic bezels. There are also 36mm quartz versions too. The older model I have is still trending at around 500 USD
I want to buy this watch but Tissot screwed up with that silver numbering and markings on the bezel. You can't see the darn numbers with light shining on the watch. I don't know why Tissot will not correct this idiocy bezel design.
I think Tissot assumed the people buying a watch like this wanted the shine black on the bezel. I doubt they think anyone uses it as a timer. I'm not making fun of it mind you I have one and it looks awesome, but yeah you have to get the angle right to read it. I will say mine is a silver faced one and it is easier to read the bright face than the darker ones.
This is the older Tissot seastar that doesn't utilize the Silicium balance spring. Overall I have been happy with the accuracy. Was thinking about picking up the Tissot Gentleman that does have that particular movement to see how it compares.

The watch is gorgeous. No trouble seeing in the sun, I swimmed with it in twi seas this year :)
I got lucky. My Powermatic 80 loses around 2 seconds a day and I wear it 24/7. They're fantastic movements for the price.
I agree, they definitely punch way above their price point!

If this one has a 39 or 37 variant, i think it would be one of the most popular watch. LoL had to tweak the comment. Great long term review!

It looks great on the mesh bracelet! Congrats!
I am highly confused between this watch and tissot gentle man . What would u suggest .
The seastar is a dive watch, the Gentleman is an everyday watch. It depends on what your tastes are
Any other good looking reputed watch you would recommend?
