That includes the Longines HydroConquest, Longines Legend Diver, TAG Heuer Aquaracer, Oris Aquis, Breitling Superocean, Rolex Submariner Date and Omega Seamaster 300M (all of which cost significantly more). This makes it easily the best value luxury dive watch ever made.
@@isaacalzate8262 Oh absolutely I would choose the TS2000! The Seastar 2000 is a tank compared to the Seiko SPB217 and costs less too! The Seiko SPB217 is only rated to 100m while the TS2000 is rated to six times that depth. The TS2000 is also an ISO-certified dive watch with a helium escape valve and an 80-hour power reserve. I honestly don't know how Tissot did it for the price (what with them being Swiss and all) but they did. I also put my money where my mouth is. My TS2000 (reference T120.607.11.041.01) is on my left wrist as I'm typing this. I did choose the Seastar 2000 Professional and I couldn't be happier with it. Today cyber Monday 2022, I walked into my local high end jewelry store who is a AD for Rolex, Tudor Tissot, and Hamilton among a few others to buy my first Rolex. The Submariner I tried on is basically unobtainable, I instead walked out with a Tissot Seastar 2000 at retail to get on the waiting list for Rolex and got to know my AD salesman who has all my info now. I could not be more happier with this beautiful Seastar that has 10 hours more power reserve than a Rolex Submariner and also goes twice the depth. I just absolutely love this Tissot and how it looks on my wrist and if I never get a call for a submariner, Oh well. I just may start a Tissot collection.
@@olyman3068 Yes and No actually, the AD did indeed call me about 5 weeks after the Tissot purchase and offered me a Rolex, but not my desired Submariner nor GMT Master. He had got in a Sea Dweller Redline. I went in and tried it on. I was taken back how much the Sea Dweller looked identical to the Submariner black since it had a Cyclops. I ended up buying the Sea Dweller for retail due to my desperation to finally own a Rolex and happy I did as everyone thinks it is a submariner except watch people who know better.
This watch is stunning in direct sunlight. The colors and gradients just come alive. Then, just as amazing, at 330am the lume makes the watch fully visible. I wear this to bed every night. Without my glasses on and it being under the covers it glows just right...very easy to read. That's how lume should be tested. In the dark (in bed or 1000m down in the sea), pupils fully dilated and then looking at the watch. This lume takes ambient light very well. So glad I went for it as my first mechanical.
As a person with small wrists I question these “professionals” that always say 45mm is too big and heavy. I have this watch and it fits me perfectly. Unless you have a toothpick for a wrist or are malnourished the watch could look great on you. Don’t listen to comments from “professionals”, just go to the shop and try it.
Beautiful dial. I bought a Seastar for my 40th 8 years ago. Never an issue with it and it still looks new though it has been my everyday watch. The 2000 will be my purchase in 2 years.
This is my dream watch. All of the countless astronomically expensive watches I've seen online or in youtube videos, in my opinion, this watch is still the prettiest. Thanks for the review and info!
I tried this one today and it is a stunner! The dial has a beautiful depth to it and it looks and feels much more expensive than it is. Wearing a 43.5mm Aquis as my daily I think it is not that large and it wears very similar.
Thank you for being honest about the case size, I always worry about watching videos made by the people selling the product, but you have put my mind at ease. Well done on everything you have achieved so far!
just bought this watch in Rome - 600 EU. Officially it was "secondhand" but there isn't a mark anywhere at all - either on the watch, clasp, strap or even the paperwork, box, etc. It looks stunning on the wrist and has a LOT or presence. The dial really zings in the sunlight - gorgeous piece of jewellery.
I have a 16.5 cm wrist and the lugs are just enough to meet the end of my wrist without an overhang. I wear this a like a ****** boss almost every day.
It’s a beautiful watch ! Last Saturday I checked it at a local dealer. It’s impressive, in my opinion the only down side is the bezel rotation, seems to be a little cheap, but for the price there is no way to go wrong.
I own this watch and in all tests I have seen, also in my point this watch has a high quality bezel, the move, the clicks are precise and the ceramic ring is beautiful.
Tried it on last week aswell. If they made this exact model in 42mm it would've been a HUGH hit. My wrist is 7.75 and it still looked like a hockey puck.
Just got mine (blue green variant). It was love at first sight. Brilliant finish, Swiss Made, ISO certified, and 600M depth rating. Can’t go wrong with that. It is a bit heavy though. But I carry it with pride. 😂 Thanks Tissot for not ripping us off with an inflated price tag.

I have always been a fan of watches and have a small collection. Then I came across your youtube channel. Now I am a fanatic. I absolutely love your channel. So much great information, so well done and for now on I will exclusively be buying from your store to support this amazing channel. I do not think people realize how much effort goes in to making these videos and want you to know it is much appreciated! BTW I bought an orient Ray 2 as my first dive into automatic movements and it is awesome.
Omega take note, this is how you fashion an escape valve. If there was ever a watch that would get me into the gym this would be it, 52 lug to lug angled or not is BIG
I agree about the valve but I found the manual helium escape valve more reliable, I do dive and at times at considerable depths. Yes, aesthetically, the auto valve is better but when it comes to a tool watch, I prefer the manual valve.
After owning this watch for a year, the only disappointment is the particularly loose bezel that spins on the slightest contact. Sent it in for warranty repair, but it came back still with a less than sturdy bezel.
I bought a Seastar 2000 today at 27% off retail. Purchased the blue dial version because it reminds me of a Rolex Deepsea, in that, the dial graduates from blue to black which I think mimics my dream watch. If the bracelet doesn't work for me I also ordered the matching blue silicon strap. Just hope my 7 1/4" wrist can carry the extra weight.
Just got mine a few days ago, its running at a astonishing 1.5SPD, fantastic, one thing that gripes me is reviewers banging on about watches being to large, yes its a good size, and I only have a smallish 17cm wrist, but it wears well and comfortable without looking stupid. But of course cannot attest for prolong wear. Still on the fence because of the case size and also just bought a new watch from Certina.
I have brought mine with this same model (gradient ocean) been wearing from 2 years and 6 months. Always an eye catcher watch. The size is little big but it matches on my big wrist. The best swiss watch I can say. I have checked the Omega Seamaster 300 but still this watch stands out. The price of this watch goes up today and I am happy that this watch holds and goes up its value as time goes by.

46mm is awesome for my 8 inch wrist, 16mm thick is usually a bit much, but I'll hold my judgements until I can try it, the only way to actually know if it's too thick is seeing it live.
im liking the bezel here. it looks better than the previous model 1000. which has a glossy ceramic and barely visible markers. and the clasp is also improved.
I am a diver, and I have owned my Tissot Seastar 2000 for about a year. Mine has the blue-green face. I recently did a saturation dive with it. I really like this watch, my only complaint is that the date window is quite small. I am looking for a cyclops to install over the date window to see if I can make the date more visible. Otherwise, it is an outstanding watch.
Got mine yesterday in the Teal blue colour in Canada as well. There is a certain mystery or intrigue with that colour IMHO and looks more like the sea. Gorgeous watch, a little too big for my wrist but will rock it regardless. Beautiful watch and great value as many have mentioned.
So far is there any problem with the powermatic 80? I tried the 2000 but due to the size and bracelet are too big for me So I’m not going to get that . In fact seastar 1000 is just perfect match with my waist
I'll reserve judgment until I can try one on. Have a couple 44mm watches and wouldn't get rid of them anytime soon. Maybe this one wouldn't be too bad. Love that dial anyway!
Truly beautiful watch, I couldn’t help but to purchase one. Of course being a value shopper I went with pre owned. A few scratches in exchange for a 41% discount off of retail made my day, possibly my year. Reading that it out specs a Rolex Submariner, added very much to that value shopping experience. I spend an overabundance of time gazing at the dial if anything. After a lifetime of listening to a quartz watch tick away while falling asleep I’d say it’s near silent sweep is the best quality of all. It’s also a perfect fit on my wrist, almost a custom feel where it comes to rest.
I got this watch delivered today - Tissot have done an absolutely superb job with this watch, incredible quality for the price. Its nice to lay it next to the Oris Calibre 400 and compare (which it was aimed at I reckon), of which it shares similarities - but the size difference is most apparent. I have no doubt I'll love the Seastar 2000 as much as I love my Calibre 400 Oris. Top marks to Tissot for a job well done!
Hey man, saw this comment and wanted to ask you, how do you like this watch 5 months later? I was actually really considering the caliber 400, but then saw this. Really like the look, saw one in person, but couldn't really get a feel for how it wears since it was on the full length bracelet. The seastar 1000 is sized similar to my tag f1 which I love the size of, so how huge is the 2000 compared to the aquis?
@@jamesrubio9816 Well, when you lay them next to each other the Seastar 2000 is noticeably larger, but not in a bad way. It is also quite a bit more weighty than the Calibre 400 - a bit like having a tank on your wrist aha but that's fine given its a 'serious' dive watch. 5 months on I am perfectly happy with it. I was wearing it through the week at work just this past week - so its still all good :)
Vary classy dive watch. Lots to like, especially that blue lume that just begs to be in the water. Only critique I have is all the busy text on the otherwise stunning dial.
I tried on one of the chrono Seastars and whats funny is that while these watches are seemingly sized for large wrists I could barely get the unclasped band over my hand and there was no way I could clasp it. I would need to add 3-4 links for sure.
Seastar utilized the C07.111 with the plastic escapement. The pallet fork and balancing wheel are made of plastic, thus there are two fewer jewels. Uncertain of how long it will endure and how difficult it will be for the watchmaker to service.
Looking seriously at this watch in the blue/green variant. I have an older Submariner 14060 that I like to wear but it's nice to have a little color besides black. I have other watches as well so this wil add to my collection.
the watch really is beautiful, i have the seastar from last year and this one really is beautiful, just love the dial and color. wasnt for its size and i will have the feeling to get one
This is not a review. It's an ad for his website since he is now an AD. Virtually all his videos are like that now. There's no impartiality now. Not to mention that he is also selling at full retail when any brick and mortar AD will discount most of the watches he is selling. Why anyone would buy watches from his site is beyond me. Buyer beware.
i feel like you will be making me fallen in love for all the brands now which usually you are showcasing them on your channel. I guess now i need to loot a bank to grab all of them. Again a very good video indeed. Keep doing your best. God bless you
Extraordinary style and detail. Certainly gone at hard at Oris and beyond with this one. The size is not an issue but how much does this piggy weigh? May have to wear it on the rubber.
I have a rather small whrist , fits perfect for a 40mm , but i dont care i Will buy this as a birthday gift for my self , i own a Tissot (PRC 200) and im very Happy have been 4 years now, nothing to complain, i think that for 1k € this one Is a LOT OF WATCH for the Money you pay , im Just a regular guy for me 1k for a Watch Is like buying a 100k Watch like Rich people do.
Great video Teddy! You're right about the size of the watch. I think that's going to be the only thing that may limit some people of getting it. It might be "love it or hate it" thing. Nevertheless, the package offered by Tissot is impressive, especially for this price. It's amazing that Tissot were able to put together 600 WR and exhibition caseback. No need of the He escape valve of course but that's OK. IMHO, the only thing Tissot could do better is the clasp but we should not be too picky when we talk about $1025 watch, which characteristics surpass some well-known brands. Again, great video!
you lost me at 46mm. I don't get the manufacturers pushing the large sizes with so many people looking for traditional 38-42 mm time pieces. I would buy one in that size!
they’re trying to be Rolex with the ceramic bezel. not sure if they are going to follow rolex to the point of filling the bezel numbers with platinum tho
I have it for two weeks now I was waiting on your review on it and I agree on everything I have a larger wrist and it looks perfect I absolutely love it I hope they do other dial colors
Hi Fabio, I was wondering if you still have the watch? and if that the case , has you opinions about the watch remains the same after a year of ownership?
Very nice video, man ! I also enjoy the design of it a lot but 46mm sounds like a lot. I have medium to big wrist and I still think it would be too big on my hand.
It’s a shame when bracelets aren’t built to the same standard as the watch itself. It seems like if companies are going to skimp, they do it on the bracelet. When I buy a watch, I consider the complete package.
@@FadeToBlack888 last yr i got my first custom by Aaron bespoke and OMG wow so perfect and inexpensive. I do not get paid to say this but my friends are not watch nerds so i blab here!
Very well said, the watch isn't just the case. Watches that come on bracelet (strap as well regardless leather or rubber) are not 2 separate parts, they are one package, the whole of it should be attractive.
There is something messy where the minute markers meet the dial. Don't see it on this video, but if you go to Tissot or any retail sight, you will see what I mean. I almost bought this watch until I noticed it.

Got mine yesterday in the Teal blue colour in Canada as well. There is a certain mystery or intrigue with that colour IMHO and looks more like the sea. Gorgeous watch, a little too big for my wrist but will rock it regardless. Beautiful watch and great value as many have mentioned.
Im thinking of getting this and in Canada too. Where did you get it from? Looking for reputable online Canadian sites.
@@jeffrutledge5320 I was able to get it from Nordstrom but they are quickly winding down so don’t know if they have any left.
So far I'm fully satisfied with my Seastar 1000.
So far is there any problem with the powermatic 80?
I tried the 2000 but due to the size and bracelet are too big for me So I’m not going to get that . In fact seastar 1000 is just perfect match with my waist
@@joshuatan2784 the powermatic 80 is doing well for me.. Wore it almost everyday for 9 months and the accuracy is pretty good.
I'll reserve judgment until I can try one on. Have a couple 44mm watches and wouldn't get rid of them anytime soon. Maybe this one wouldn't be too bad. Love that dial anyway!
I bought one today and love it. It is so beautiful and I like the size as I like larger watches.
Been waiting for this review. Size is perfect for us large wristed people. Looks great too!
Size does not matter. My wrist is small, already wearing a Tag Heuer Aquaracer which is 43mm....tried this Tissot today....omg....stunner.
I was wearing it through the week at work just this past week - so its still all good :)
beautiful watch, great job from Tissot!
Vary classy dive watch. Lots to like, especially that blue lume that just begs to be in the water. Only critique I have is all the busy text on the otherwise stunning dial.
Mines coming in tomorrow and I can’t wait!
I tried on one of the chrono Seastars and whats funny is that while these watches are seemingly sized for large wrists I could barely get the unclasped band over my hand and there was no way I could clasp it. I would need to add 3-4 links for sure.
This content is amazing! Top Notch Sir!
Beautiful watch and great review. Why didn't Tissot make this watch in a 40mm or 42mm?They would have gained a lot of market share if they did that.
Get the 1000
I’m actually glad I found this vid, I’ll get this watch for sure, is the “right everything” watch for me, thanks.
I have a 7.5 inch wrist and a 44mm Pam is as large as I want to go. Might try this one on somewhere because I do like it
Would love to see and Doxa review Teddy and in particular the 1500.
That dial is so beautiful. Great reviw Teddy!!
206grams officially. Pretty heavy!
definitely a rubber strap and/or a leather strap for more dress look, that bracelet looks like a scratch magnet... and saving weight is an extra bonus
I just picked up Oris aquis in rose gold and I love it but this one is beautiful. Love the dial
They have the 80 si movement which is cosc certified. Sadly its not inside the watch
Hows your watch doing? Do you like it?
@@kuku505 yes very much ,the Watch Is doing Just fine
Very nice very attractive watch. By the way the Powermatic 23 jewels I fear it may be the plastic escapement movement.
Yes I think so, but don’t know if it’s a big deal or not
Hey Teddy,
Can you do a comparison of this Tissot 2000 vs Mido 600 Chronometer?
Great video Teddy! You're right about the size of the watch. I think that's going to be the only thing that may limit some people of getting it. It might be "love it or hate it" thing. Nevertheless, the package offered by Tissot is impressive, especially for this price. It's amazing that Tissot were able to put together 600 WR and exhibition caseback. No need of the He escape valve of course but that's OK. IMHO, the only thing Tissot could do better is the clasp but we should not be too picky when we talk about $1025 watch, which characteristics surpass some well-known brands. Again, great video!
The TS2000 is actually a sapphire sandwich like the Omegas because the display case-back is also sapphire.
Seems like a beautiful watch, but I bought a Prospex diver at a price I couldn't turn down
10:53 Same could be said about really small watches under 40mm for people with larger wrists.
More of a wall clock than a watch. Shame because it really is s stunning.
Jesus Christ, how small are your wall clocks? :O
Teddy you make me buy this watch and enter to this beautiful world of watches thanks
Impressive. I recently purchased the seastar 1000 but really likentge bracelet and dial on this watch
A stunning looking watch Teddy!😍 I love my Tissot's, but maybe a tad too big... 😔
Beautiful watch but it’s a shame that the black/grey variant is not selling with the bracelet
I have this exact watch... just picked it up at Jareds.
you lost me at 46mm. I don't get the manufacturers pushing the large sizes with so many people looking for traditional 38-42 mm time pieces. I would buy one in that size!
Yup, except for the size, this watch really did it for me. I don't mind the Seastar 1000 either, if only the bezel isn't so reflective.
they’re trying to be Rolex with the ceramic bezel. not sure if they are going to follow rolex to the point of filling the bezel numbers with platinum tho
Love that dial, wish it was smaller!
This is made for me. ♥️ 8 inch wrist club
Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional GOOD!
Incredible review!! This is watch is exceptional for the value!
Tremendous value Teddy! Thank you for all of your watch reviews.
The size is the best part !!!
Can you do a compare this watch with other watches like omegas or rolex ?
The only watch that it won't out-spec is the Planet Ocean or Sea Dweller.
Very nice video, man ! I also enjoy the design of it a lot but 46mm sounds like a lot. I have medium to big wrist and I still think it would be too big on my hand.
Got myself one and just love it 👍
I have a $76 Invicta with a milled clasp. It’s also 47mm, and the crown doesn’t hit the back of my hand.
The gold one ❤
It’s a shame when bracelets aren’t built to the same standard as the watch itself. It seems like if companies are going to skimp, they do it on the bracelet. When I buy a watch, I consider the complete package.
meh, if i go diving i put it on a nato, if i do dining i put it on a leather
@@FadeToBlack888 last yr i got my first custom by Aaron bespoke and OMG wow so perfect and inexpensive. I do not get paid to say this but my friends are not watch nerds so i blab here!
It’s a shame when you think that any one would care what you may or may not think...
Mark David you cared enuf to reply.
Very well said, the watch isn't just the case. Watches that come on bracelet (strap as well regardless leather or rubber) are not 2 separate parts, they are one package, the whole of it should be attractive.
Amazing review, thanks
Teddy please do the wrist-watch checking in every video.
Beautiful, my next watch🙌
I bought this one watch, I only have a 7 inch wrist but it works as the lugs are short
Same here, I have 7" wrist. I tried it today at the shop...looks stunning...I am getting it!
There is something messy where the minute markers meet the dial. Don't see it on this video, but if you go to Tissot or any retail sight, you will see what I mean. I almost bought this watch until I noticed it.
"46mm diver with 16mm height but actually wears closer to that medium-large size"....
Yeah, no. This thing is just straight out Hugh Mungus man, there's no other way around that.
i seen A invicta review today LMAO! he said 60mm I fell on the floor! YIKES.
