  • How I'll Remember You | Alzheimer's caregivers read letters to their parents with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Claire, Katie and Jamie were all in their teens when their respective parents were diagnosed with a form of Alzheimer's or dementia.
This video was shown at the 5th Annual Memory Ball presented by Feature Foods. Memory Ball is an annual charity gala that aims to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto among a young professional demographic.
In 2011, the now Young Leaders Council of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto was established to raise awareness Alzheimer's disease (AD) among a young professional demographic. The group is passionate about increasing awareness for Alzheimer's disease as two YLC council members’ mothers were diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. In five years, Memory Ball has hosted over 2,000 guests and fundraised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto. YLC aims to continue raising funds, awareness and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s. To learn more about the organization and sponsorship opportunities, please visit www.memoryball.org.
