World History Unit 2: The African origins of humanity to the first civilizations

In this unit, we will be doing a basic overview of what we know about human evolution. We will then discuss the importance of the Agricultural Revolution. Finally, we will explore the first civilizations in Mesopotamia (including the Sumerians, Akkadians and Hebrews), India (including the Harrappans and Aryans) and China (including the Shang dynasty).
