I just watched this vid and did the winged liner and wow wow wow I can’t believe how good it came out!! You are opening up a world of possibilities for this 51 year old woman!!!
I love this video so much! I've been admiring that winged eye on others for so long, and now I think I may just have the courage to give it a try. Instruction like this is the reason why I subscribed and also purchase your Master Class videos. Thank you!
I'm almost 42 and I love wings. It irritates me when people say "stop" over a certain age. You look absolutely gorgeous. More proof that it's a beautiful choice.
Back in the 90’s I was a pro at winged eye liner. I am going to see if its like riding a bike 😉 and give this a try. What is your brand preference now?
This one's your best look. It matches you, so well. I think you should keep this one as your daily look, because it's also very subtle. For some reason it doesn't look overdone on you.
thanks so much! My stylist does balayage twice a year and if I need more highlights to brighten, I pop them in myself with bleach and then use a toner or purple shampoo
I saw another woman make a triangle with the point facing straight up connected to her line on the outer half and didn’t let the wing go past her eyelid because she had hanging skin and it looked like a wing and pretty good. She said if it went any further it would be covered by the skin. (I’m not there yet with skin but I do have hooded eyes and learning at 41)
yes! they call it the bay wing and I’m not a fan. It’s fine if you’re on a zoom all day, looking forward, but it’s strange from all other angles, looks like Halloween makeup to me
You said over and over again you’re a 25 years professional make-up artist and yet you showed a wrong way to do a winged eyeliner on a hooded eyelid. I’m sorry but make-up should look good in any angle not just in certain angles, just as you said people see us in all circumstances. For anyone who wants to know how to correctly do it search “winged eyeliner on hooded/droppy eyes” and you’ll see the correct methods.
I don't see how this is any different than a wing a non hooded eye person would do. If I did this my wing would be invisible and covered by my droopy hood😒
This isn’t just for hooded eyes, it’s for any mature eye. This is why I show a photo of Jennifer Lawrence and Helen Mirren. Helen’s winged liner also disappears a little bit too. You have to play around and practice for your eye shape. Not every eye can pull off a winged liner. That’s why I took this time to explain and also encourage you to look for photos of women your age and with your eye shape. There is not one formula even for mature hooded eyes.

Thank you for this video! I tried a small wing this morning and it was awful. This helped me so much to know how to hold the pen. I'll be practicing!

Yeah! good for you!
Very helpful! Thank you so much.
I’m so glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!!!
Great explanation! Thanks 😊
Let me know if you try it!
Beautiful & helpful! Do you use dark or clear lash glue?
Either but I recommend clear for people who aren’t yet strong at their lash game. Black glue can be messy
Great VIDEO..TY
Can u do the fox eye
Gorgeous on you
Can we get a tutorial on botox and fillers too? That face doesn't move
Do you line bottom eye?
Often times not but you can softly with a shadow
You go on with your bad self!!
thanks Rita!

False advertising. You don’t have droopy eyes.
