Another great video Lisa. If you are doing requests (😂), how about a video on leg/foot positioning while polling? Also, trim - should it be the same for polling upstream as stubbing downstream? And what about polling in wind?
Up in central Ontario my season is has come to an end. But the search for my pole begins and I have a big goal for next year. I can already see how it will transform my experience.. in creeks and rivers, through beaver meadows and mires, through the shallow flats of manoomin. Thanks for sharing Lisa.
That's fantastic, good luck with the pole search. Stay tuned I have an episode coming up about the 3 baby poler mistakes so you can avoid those. Good luck and thanks for watching.
Could also be said once I picked up the pole, it just began. Not ended. Nice section of stream, ideal poling down and up. Can you share what stream it is?

The episode’s on canoe trim are coming up. I’ve filmed them. Stay tuned. Foot position is good too. I might have to wait till Spring on that one.

Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for the next couple of episodes, I’m gonna take the mystery all out of it.

It’s the St. Croix, one of my favorites. I’ve taught a lot of young Guides to pole on that.
@@3_Minutes_With_a_Maine_Guide With our low water this past summer I wonder if the dam controlled waters still allowed decent river running?
..Also enjoy the tips and tricks .. Thank you ..
