  • This is a shorter video because when it comes to install this is about as easy as it gets. I also go though setting up and pairing the Trigger Plus application to my Trigger 4 Plus. What is nice is the app and set up is the same for all the new devices. I honestly can say that this is one of the best and easiest ways to control the lights on your vehicle.

This looks so cool I have lights on my Jeep but I'm using the locker switches which makes those look obsolete compared to this. Would love to get one of these.

They have a 6 switch (SIX SHOOTER) version which has even more features. Like the ability to alert your phone if your battery is getting low and you can set it up to turn off the lights at certain voltage level. This gives you the ability to run your lights with out the Jeep running. I want to get one of the Six Shooters and test out all of these cool extra functions on video.
You can't go wrong with either the 4 or 6 system. I really enjoy my 4 plus system. I recommend them to customers all the time and have had zero complaints from anyone who has bought one.

wILL TRIGGER 4 WORK WITH 12V MOTORS OR JUST LIGHTS? i HAVE 4 EXISTING RELAYS i"D LIKE TO TRIGGER THAT RUN POWER WINDOW MOTORS THAT OPEN/ CLOSE HCP DOORS.

As long as whatever you are running is drawing less amps than the fuse in the Trigger System or you use the Trigger to trigger the relay. In theory you could get it to work.

What kind of battery life are you getting in the remote? Is there an option to hardwire?

I get about a year or so out of the remote batteries. On the trigger 6 there is the ability to wire the mount in to the 12v. Honestly never herd a customer here at Xtreme complain about the battery life in the remote.

Oh wow. Yeah I'm totally ok with a year of use. I'll just add a battery change to the other maintenance that gets done yearly. And yeah, my buddy had the six shooter, but I don't have six things to hook up 😂. Thanks for the info!

@@mytruenorth5593 Absolutely!!! I thought I wouldn't have a use for the six shooter but now I'm thinking I might upgrade to it. Because it has some battery tending features that I want to try out and shoot a video over. Unfortunately they don't come on the 4. I think they should have but oh well. Plus I just ran out f switches.... Anyway thanks for question and for watching!!

The hardest part is where and how to install the control module in your engine bay. As stated, wiring is not that hard. Came to find out where and how you secured your control module, did not get info, disappointed and frustrated.

Are you Installing it on a Jeep similar to mine? Because the mounting can differ greatly depending on the application or even with what engine is in the vehicle. The easiest way to do it is to use the velcro they provide with the trigger and mount it on the fuse box that is typically located near the battery I have done this and it works great. I Just have mine wedged in-between the battery and the AC line that runs just behind the battery it has been this way for years and I have had zero issues with it. You could also see if they have a mounting kit for your vehicle I know what applications they have brackets has grown in the past few years. The last thing is you could do is build a bracket for it but once again that would differ greatly depending on the vehicle it was getting made for.

Velcro crossed my mind after seeing another video where it was mounted to the top of the fuse box which had not crossed my mind nor was it mentioned anywhere in the instructions. Also my six shooter didn’t come with any velcro, but easy enough to get. Thanks for the reply, apologies for being a poopy pants. I ended up screwing it to the top of my fuse box. Probably should’ve used velcro but I was too lazy to go looking for it.
