  • The tent in this video is a SIBLEY 500 PRO (5 metre bell tent). The tent porch is the SIBLEY CONNECTOR.
Tents are made by, and can be purchased directly from, CanvasCamp, Belgium:

    VIDEO DESCRIPTION
This video covers what must be one of the best of the campsites in Wales (in fact, anywhere!). Also watch our video "A walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to the Iron Age hill fort at Penpleidiau" to see the coastline within a very short distance of the campsite and also the video "Nolton Haven Beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales" to see a great beach that is only a short drive away.
    St Davids....
With our tent perched near the edge of the sea cliffs our stay was made even better with a stunning coastline backdrop... with views across St Brides Bay and Ramsey Island (on one side of the campsite) and Caer Bwdy Bay on the other. The wonderful (tiny city!) of St Davids is a just short drive away.
The video follows our two boys as they rush down the adjacent Pembrokeshire Coast Path to go rockpool hunting at Caerfai Beach (just a leisurely 10-minute ramble away from St Davids Farm Campsite).
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path twists and turns its way for 186 miles along the most breathtaking coastline in Britain. It covers almost every kind of coastal landscape from rugged cliff tops and sheltered coves to wide-open beaches and winding estuaries. Lying almost entirely within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (Britain’s only truly coastal National Park) the trail displays an array of coastal flowers and bird life, as well as evidence of human activity from ancient Neolithic times to the modern day present.
Camping at this site can be booked through the following website: www.pitchup.co...
The campsite address is: Carn Nwchwn House, Farm, St Davids, Haverfordwest SA62 6QN
The campsite is wonderful and huge! There is no need to worry about finding lots of space! The facilities are also great with showers, very well maintained toilets and dish washing area etc.
This is a campsite we often return to and I'm sure we will continue to visit the site for years to come.
Please see our other Welsh camping videos for other beaches, walks and places to visit.
    Thanks for watching!

@Aiden & Rowan what drone did you use here ?

Hi Jason. With that one is was a gopro karma/ hero 7 camera. I tend to use DJI mini 3 (better video image) for most of my videos but the mini can be prone to getting attacked by certain seabirds. Ive nearly lost it that way a couple of times. So it can be risky flying the mini pro in coastal areas (and especially over water). Birds don't tend to bother with the Karma, but it is a much bigger drone.

@Aiden & Rowan I've just got the mini 3 recently and was hearing about bird attacks, someone suggested getting a strobe type light saying it might help deter them, also helps to see the drone in daylight

Hi, nice video and great colours. We're going to Pembrokeshire next week so researching places to visit. Will probably stop at Whitesands bay in that area but area near your campsite looks interesting.

Hope you had fun! It's a lovely area (when the weather is right!) and we go there most years! Lots of things to do and places to go and is generally not crowded (unlike the Lake District and the Cotswolds).

are motorhomes allowed on this site or is it just camping ?

It is mainly camping (tents) but I have often seen motorhomes on the site, but not at the bottom field shown in this vid. They might be limited to the top field. You will need to phone them to check.
