Already need to "Service Electronic Stability Control" on three month old Jeep WK2

- This happens intermittently when I start my car. Some days there is no problem, sometimes rebooting just once makes the light go away, and sometimes like in this video it happens multiple starts in a row. Have service appointment in 3 weeks... hope I don't need ESC until then
I had my brake and traction control light on with a low brake fluid message and all i did was change my brake fluid sensor and the lights came off. Hope this tip helps ✌️

Just had this alert come up on my display today, 3800 km's 2018 Durango RT. This will be the 3rd warranty issue since I picked it up in June, "BUMMER." At least I know it's just an update. Thanks for posting.
had my jeep gc 2018 for 4 months.. got this error.. they chngd vacuum pump.. error comes back in 1 month.. again its in service..
I serviced my esc system had same issue with service electronic stability control light coming on this mechanic shop has good technicians charged me cheap and fixed it. Light has not come on ever since. It was electrical issue and computer update. And rewiring of the harness. did a good job at fixing my issue. I have 2017 dodge charger and from california

My Dodge Charger 2018 has the same thing. However it turns off and one randomly when driving. I took it to dealer yesterday and they said they don’t know what’s wrong. No light is on only randomly when driving it says service ESC. Also the steering wheel gets hard or locks up for few seconds. Frustrating since it’s a new car. Any one else have the steering wheel problem?
Angel happened to me when I had the sxt.. you may need to tighten the positive bolt under the hood .

I am having this problem right now and I took it to the Dodge dealership and they kept telling me that it was the aftermarket rgb lights that I put on my car lol. I told them that this message popped up before I even put the lights on my car smh. But they still insist that it is the coming from my lights. Lmao!!

I’ve had a shitty fucking week but that’s just the fucking demons trying to knock me down , from my fan going out Sunday to fixing it Tuesday ,to today Thursday my car over heating and leaking lots of coolant due to a fucking leak in a holes and getting that fixed to now a couple hours later with this fucking Service Electronic stability shit pop up . God knows I need better days .
Looked into this because my 2016 grand Cherokee limited was doing it. It’s the vacuum pump. Took it to the dealer and boom nothing! Hope that helps!

Hopefully you purchased extended warranty. Servicing the ESC system is not cheap! I know from experience..

seems like this is a very common problem with this product, diagnostic cost $160.00+cost of repair IF your vehicle is under warranty then you could be ok, but mind only have less than 16000 miles, but I am over 3 wks on the warranty for this section. it is not really their 5years/100,000 most items will be the regular 3years, I asked them if they cover zombie apocalypse, now I found my justification why I have not bought an AMERICAN brand car in over 40+ years, and might take another 50+ years before I buy one and I want to make AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, but kind of hard when other car qualities are better.

@@thezodiac1903 take it to the local dodge dealer near you and they will fix it charge you 40-60 bucks all it is is a sensor that went bad nothing major if you don’t get it fixed it will Jack with how your brakes work cause the sensor is not working. Simple fix

I literally tapped my back wheel & this happened & caused my steering wheel to be all wonky.
Check your speed sensor in that wheel..speed sensor might need changing..cheap and easy to fix
@@yomoms16 I got it fixed, it was my link on the back wheel & my sensor & the thing inside the steering wheel the helps regulate the spin of the wheels.

@@4lifeprosperity mine was luckily covered by insurance I just told them someone hit my back wheel and they covered the cost all I had was the deductible, but without deductible I think remembering it was $2,000 without insurance, but that also depends how bad the damage is

I took it to the dealership and they installed some ABS updates that made the problem go away.

This also happened to my new 2019 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4 x 4 after 2 months every time i start the car, the stability control service light combined with auto stop not working, planning on make an appointment with the dealer.
@@juniorj28 what was your result? Brand new dodge challenger here, 300 miles and same service warning. Can't get in for a service appointment until next week and I have a weekend trip planned.

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I have a 2022 dodge ram 2500 the same light pop song when I start the vehicle it ain’t on but the minute I put it in drive and start driving it pop song I can’t figure it out.
