- In a series for the BBC News website, Celebrities and news-makers are grilled by Matthew Stadlen in precisely five minutes.
In this video, Matt talks to Al Murray.
One of the most globally underrated comics. This guy is awesome.
He's a hypocrite flogging a dead horse.
@@adambritain5774 open your mind and get the irony you dick 🖕
Genuine, modest with great talent.
That time gentlemen please was histerical
There are two types of Al Murray The pub landlord fans. Those who agree with him and those who get the joke
He was never confused 😅
Hello. I'm the isleofskye. I chose to watch a video that promises nothing more than an interview with a history buff come comedian and decided to write two different comments expressing things that demonstrate my ignorance in both.
"where do you get your material from" what a stupid question
Not really. John Clese when asked the same question went into detail about a hotel he stayed in that was the inspiration for "Fawlty Towers". Spike Milligan got his inspiration from crap he had been through. I could go on.
Totally disagree ,it’s a decent question
@@simodo11 he comes up with them by things he sees and hears, it’s the most mundane and mindless question ever
@@jafro8 ,It was a quick fire interview /questions and thought it went well, like to see you do better

Sorry this joker is a comedian ?
Seen him fleetingly on TV a dozen times and never realised !

You should get out a bit.
The only teensy-weensy problem is that a combination of thick snow, hazardous driving conditions, the freezing cold and they are telling me that this Covid business isn't too pleasurable either so it's Comedians on UA-cam for me like Lee Mack, Tim Vine, David Mitchell, , Louis CK, Kevin Bridges, Greg Davies, Stewart Lee, Ricky Gervais, or anything involving Armando Iannucci like The Thick Of It, Alan Partridge or VEEP not the Son of a Viscount playing a "character" who takes the piss out of working people. Naturally "Our Al " is not like that, it's the character to blame. Related to William Makepeace Thackeray: No wonder he had an expensive education though I will see Al if I want to learn about History which he studied..........he's one of yer own...NOT :(
@@banjopete As a Cockney I could not agree more Peter Ol' Son :)
Work is vastly overrated which is why I joined the cushy Civil Service then the even easier Nationalised Industry for the next 16 years while climaxing with 3 local London Labour Councils so I managed to conserve my energy and concentrate on my social life for decades :)
@@Isleofskye No mate. Just no.
