GTA SA vibe is indeed timeless and superior to GTA5 rendition of California. And it's just a speculation but I'm sure we're going to start GTA6 with Lucia being paroled from the jail/prison but having to wear an ankle monitor, thus restricting our full map exploration. And I'm sure we'd have to start from zero and maybe even have to do some "community service" or "parole jobs" missions before things turn in some interesting way.
True. This is the GTA game where the main story missions feel heavily affected by the preparations you make beforehand. The side-activities feels almost necessary, and the game is much better for it.
Greates GTA ever!! The rich one in many aspect. After completing story, I just roam around the map, listening K-rose, Radio X, and make some cool photography and saved in my own gallery. The atmosphere in this game is so rich and diverse.
its crazy that this 20yr old game is a much better experience and much richer in detail than gta 5, with all the technology they couldnt do anything other than a giant empty map and rag doll physics, when they already had the RPG recipe down to perfection 20 years ago? they could just have improved on what they already had created.
Its a better rpg than actual rpg's since you upgrade and maintain your skills by actually using them rather than spending skill points. (Dont take me wrong, it can make for good gameplay with interesting decisions but it never made sense for me from a immersive role playing perspective). Like in real life you cant just become a elite pilot by spending the points you earned by training swimming or shooting.
After the intro, I immediately go and complete the paramedic and firefighter missions as these give you max health and fireproof abilities. I also find and spray all tags in LS as you get an AK, Tec-9, Double barrel sawn-off shotgun and Molotov spawn in the Johnson House. This makes the game much more easier in the beginning.
If this game would have an weapon upgrades like Resident evil 4 would be great. Maybe the upgrades are locked behind the skill with the weapon and obviusly money
Maan I wish I'm still 13 and that I still got my PS2 working,bc. when I got the PS2 I used to just fly around the map in the cars and listen to KDST & K-Rose😂 Now I can't bc. my PS2's sadly dead and I have to work a 9-5 as a 20 year old and don't have that much time anymore to do so😔
as an 18 year old, this is so fucking relatable, I've been working full time since I was 16, just "bought" (30 year mortgage) my first home & I'm going to be in debt for the next forever...
@@i0x37 I feel you man, though unlike yourself I wished that I could even consider to loan some money from a Bank for a home, but can't because of how awfully high the rent is no matter where I go😔 Hope the best for both of us and that we'll succseed in our indevers tho😊
I thought this video was gonna be about all of the GTA Roleplay servers that were popular on SA-MP (San Andreas MultiPlayer) back in the day... But it wasn't mentioned at all, really surprised!
I did actually play quite a bit of the multiplayer projects like MTA back in the day, and I'd argue that's where FiveM and RageMP got their inspiration from. This video was made solely around the base game, but I'd also love to talk about the community made multiplayer projects at some point.
the game is timeless and always the BEST grand theft auto game to play i played it many times and never get tired of it i am glad i played on PS2 a long time ago when i got the chance.
It's one of the only games that i have played through multiple times and i enjoyed every single moment. The only part that i didnt enjoy at all is the ammount of activities that we get to do for 100% ing. All them jumps, clam shells, it feels like too much. Though i am sure the rewards are good! I actualy did the one with the paint jobs in los santos for the ak 47's that my homies are getting as a reward. Hehe, infinetly better for doing certain missions :)
5:37 This is actually false. There's another one open in San Fierro near where you start The Hippy Shopper courier mission. I will say though I was not familiar with the one in Las Venturas.
When I think of the great features of GTA SA. The RPG aspects are certainly not one of them. Very underwhelming and it didn't change much gameplay wise. Hopefully GTA VI can improve upon the RPG aspects.
Saints Row 2 comes very close to San Andreas, maybe even a little better in some areas, although the map is much smaller and your body weight can't change only at a plastic surgeon which is less RPG-like. San Andreas is still the best, but SR2 is very immersive too.
this and gta 4 we could consider RPGs. gta 4 rpg video would go hard lol it has some elements like with relationships and the bonuses you can get from them

I remember the ability to hold two pistols or two tec 9 after maxing out the weapon skill was the coolest thing in san andreas

Anyone else getting a bug where UA-cam isn't displaying the Skip Ad button on mobile😂😂

It's a terrible RPG what do you mean? It doesn't even fire rockets.
.... tell me you havent played the game without playing the game
I don't get the joke? Is it a GTA V joke?
He referes to the wepon, the rpg, rocket lauuncher. It's a damm good joke!
I am not even a native english speaker and i got it lol.
@@Alexandru1996_ tbh, I did consider this joke but I didn't wanna flat guess due to GTA as being the topic.

"The sky doesn't seem to be the limit" huh, I See you foreshadowing Space travel in GTA 6.. Possible Time and interdimensional Traversal too.

I went in-game to check, and you're right. At least on the version I'm playing (1.0) the one in SF is also opened. Thank you!
Childhood.
Man I wished gta vc would’ve received all of these things plus a better map
Naaah
"man i wish gta vc was a different game"
What I did while 100%ing it on ps4 was go to the cop station in lv and leveled all my weapons (🤓)
skyrim is just a medieval gta
