Great to see the final product. With all you have invested in the car, I really hope you'll add a load levelling anti sway setup for your trailer before you take any longer trips. It only takes one big gust of wind or a semi blowing past to really ruin your day.
Thanks Mark. I took it loaded for 2 hr one way trip and it was a little nerve racking. Do you have a idea of what the difference is percentage wise when adding an anti sway device?
@@StreetRodJim I’ve towed travel trailers with a load leveling hitch and sway bar setup all over the Western US. It is extremely stable with side winds/trucks if set up properly. I’d talk to the folks at Camping World to start for getting an idea what you need.
@@StreetRodJim The load leveling hitch and anti sway bars are two pieces and work together. The anti sway is like a brake ( made of brake shoe material) that can be adjusted for different levels of tightness as necessary. When you’re hit with a side load it keeps the trailer from moving. It’s well worth the $1200-1500 to have it professionally installed and set up.
Silly statement. it is a replica. Also If you look at the history books of hot rodding, which I did, 80% of all fords have Chevy engines in them. Plus the Coyote engine does not fit well in this car.
