Episode 6:
This scene takes place where Kaneki and Touka talk about the relationship between humans and ghouls, particulary Nishio and Kimi's relationship after Touka couldn't kill her (because she knows too much of the ghouls)
As requested more than my other BGM of episode 5, I decided to make a tutorial of this version faster than I planned. I'll be busy the next few days, weeks to come but since I'm hitting 4k subs soon I'll try to work on a sub special when I have some free time. Ao Haru Ride Tutorial will also come soon.
Also do you guys like my new synthesia video look? I made the contrast higher and made the background more visible, also the piano bars are not blending with the picture so you can see them clearly :D
Tokyo Ghoul is a very enjoyable anime if you are into action and aren't scared of blood and gore. Basically you have Ghouls that need to eat human flesh to stay alive and our protagonist Ken Kaneki is half Ghoul, Half human. It's makes up for an interesting mix. This show is.... très bien!
This song somehow reminds me a bit of the intro from fate stay/night - Kodoku Na Junrei, I guess it's the pacing and the melody somehow. It is a fairly easy song to play, especially the left hand is very forgiving with only 1 or 2 notes most of the time. Simple yet beautiful... which are most of my piano covers anywayz.

Hey guys, I just got a pedal. Can you give me tips on how to use it? Do I just keep my foot on it for the entire song? When should I release it?
Hey, I don't know if you learnt in the end how to use it, but you're supposed to release it after each rectangle of keys (I don't know how it's called in English XD ) ("mesure" in French if that helps XD ), but in the case of this song, just release it regularly after a few seconds, when you feel like the sound becomes too loud. Hope this helps ^-^
Anime OP - ED Yeah some people manage to do it naturally and that's awesome! I personally had troubles with it so I had to think about when to release it while playing... Pretty hard ! But now it's just natural ^^ It's cool you got it without trying :p
For most music, you release and reapply the pedal when the prevalent (usu. LH) chord changes (right before the shift), sometimes every two chords. This tends to be when a measure ends. If you hold it for too long, the music sounds weird due to the silent dischord in the background.
when i was actually learning to play the piano WITH A TEACHER the pedal was forbidden to me ;-; and then i quit, started playing by ear, already forgot everything the teacher taught me, can't read scores anymore, and hold the pedal 90% of the songs XDD and i came to see the teacher after a few years and she's like hey play something for me and i like +evil grin+ +plays magnolia with pedal on+

Inari Yamamoto The composer is Yutaka Yamada. This anime isn't the only one using german lyrics or words in their song, in fact many anime do. This is most likely because Japan has a good relation with Germany (already since WO II actually)

Why are the titles German?
Oh man... If I have to explain that I'll probably have to take you back in time. To keep it short, basically Japan and Germany were close allies (WWII) because they were striving the same goal. Basically to conquer and put their "ideal" own citizens first (in german also known as übermensch). In other words they kind of look up to Germans in a way, hence why there are so many german references in anime and I honestly think that Japan still is putting their people first.
I might not be entirely right but that's kind of the gist of it.

I'm afraid I can't offer what you are looking for, I play most of my covers by ear and I can't read sheet music... so that's why my piano arrangements are just cover and tutorials videos. Tutorials were meant as compensation for my lack of sheets I can't provide.
