I found the totem legendary pokemon early to catch. A ball or two.
Meanwhile the pink one took me an eternity (3 hours) for some reason
I remember having raticate on my team all the way through Blue. When playing the Sinnoh remakes, I kept a bibarel because I liked its ability that doubled its stat changes.

I am suprised how early you can catch a Nidoran male in gen 1. Considering it can learn an insane amount of moves and you can fully evolve it up with a moonstone you can find in Mt. Moon. Which is right after the first gym.

Zubat because it's in pretty much any cave you come across. Abra is easy if you set up a Pokemon to help catch it. Gen 4 is the easiest if you start with Chimchar due to Taunt at Level 9
The starters, you don't need to catch them at all XD. Also, that Dragon Quest OST in the background. RIP Toriyama.
Something you can't catch at all isn't easy to catch.
Somehow Zubat supersoniced MysticUmbreon and had him confused enough to leave it off this list
Tbhf I was expecting zubat/ woobat to be making an appearance due to common they were in their regions
2:11 I'd argue mimikyu is not exactly a pikachu clone. The alolan clone is Toguedemaru, mimikyu is just a guy that clones pikachu, but not a clone per se lol
If you think Shroodle doesn't count as a regional rodent because Lechonk comes before it in game and the fact it has a secondary type?

I thought magicarp would be number one because in red/blue/yellow and the remakes you could just buy the one for a measly 500 poke-dollars.
Personally, I'd rather eat up one party slot for an HM slave than lessen potentially my entire team with up to 8 moves that can't be removed without some old dude.
