So yeah, muzzles are the best attachments for controlling recoil, and suppressors are helpful, but not no longer required. I think that the answer to easier to control guns is to ditch the suppressor.
Only thing is we don't know yet how much a suppressor also helps with bullet velocity and damage range. If we find out it's significant then it will be a hard choice to make for a build.
I know some rely on JGOD and XclusiveAce but your work is always clean, neat and professional - cannot wait for the detailed stats for the weapons. tysm

That really really helps tbh, you want the Optic Barrel Ammo Magazine and underbarrel alot for mid-long range so no suppressor is going to be a huge help
That's good imo, show up in the minimap without a supressor in WZ1 created a huge gap between ground loot guns and loadout guns... I think the sound supression could be better like after 30m you can't hear the shots at all instead of 100m

Awesome any chance you can look at glint curious how it is working because they claim to have different levels of glint and also whether the hybrid sights always have glint or only when you have your scope out as opposed to a standard sight : ) As I'm writing also starting to wonder if different levels of zoom weirdly give different glint even on the same scope
they smooth out the visual recoil, however equipping a suppressor greatly increases the amount of smoke while shooting making it difficult to see the enemy as they get lost in that smoke. IceManIsaac just released a video showing this
Thank GOD!! I was so tired of running a suppressor on EVERYTHING. Glad they made the red dot minimap change. I still can't believe that people are whining that they can no longer get see where their enemies are on radar. I hate those red diamonds over enemies heads too, any way to turn those off? It'a distracting. It's so strange that people need to be told that a player without a friendly tag above them is an enemy....

I'd be very interested to know the exact distance for showing on the compass with an unsurpressed weapon. 300-400m is unlikely to bring many people down on you. But if it was say 200-250m, or your sitting in the only POI in a wasteland, you will get pushed more.

They are quite necessary in DMZ, without one the AI will almost immediately notice you and hunt you at certain distance. But it's nice to know it's not as important, especially with some guns sounding so bad and pathetic with one...
What about when enemy UAV active? In MP you’ll show up on the mini map for 3 seconds firing a suppressed weapon. Same in warzone? Probably, just wondering if you looked at that also
I feel like all SMGs do the same damage its just the firerate that makes it faster ttk....the minibak is awesome and has 64rnd mag standard but you get 3-4 bullets in before the other person and a fennec or mp7 will still beat it cause firerate.

Thats a good thing, Wz1 sucked ass because for the majority of its lifespan it had absolute zero recoil beamers that just made the gameplay stale and required no skill. I hope they keep longer range guns as they are now in Wz2, you need to actually learn how to control the recoil pattern if you wanna hit targets futher away with full auto
@@DaSmerte1337 Agreed. WZ1 I got so tired of post Godzilla caldera where people were beaming with the STG which was a literal noob cannon with zero recoil. At least the AMAX, XM4. CWAK required some semblance of recoil control to use. The game got so stupid to the point where if you were caught out in any way you were dead.

I literally shot somebody 5 feet away with a sniper rifle to the head did not kill him he turns around with an assault rifle and just kills me. Honestly I’m not for sure if I’m liking the game it’s kind of bullshit.

I think the biggest problem with this is that JGOD will base most of his builds off of how well the gun "feels" vs. TGD will try to get the actual numbers and values before putting out a loadout. So TGD has a lot of work cut out for him getting the right numbers for everything. It'd probably be best to just experiment with what you like for now. Enjoy the game for a bit before we nitpick into the details.
Firing without a suppressor not showing on the mini map is a horrible, horrible decision. I know that’s what it’s like in MP but the fact that you would show up on WZ1 made me think it would be just like that. So, so many bad decisions from the devs regarding this game in my opinion. Makes me a little sad to think I might not play this very much.

Some guns like the RPK don’t have good barrel attachments so the suppressor generally is a great pick for it.

Even 4x VLK is super noticable, so all of them is probably noticable.
There’s a Reddit post where someone tested this. His conclusion was that anything under medium glint is really difficult to see.

It's a good change. Always hated the fact you were basically forced to use suppressor on every gun in WZ1

The fourth perk slot is currently not working in Warzone so as of now there is no way to test it. 😕

Still think this change is no good. Radar blips when firing are integral to the pace of Call Of Duty.. WZ included, the compass is terrible

No I looked at and tested multiple guns and suppressors seem to add a ton more muzzle smoke especially to faster firing guns and battle rifles

Instead of that go find an army ranger handbook and patrol book and form a real squad
suppressors are worth it when playing hardcore. you can get a ghillie suit and go prone in grass and no one will find you.

Map is great, gulag is great but its booring with only pistols. Rest is just trash imo.
