    As crazy as real estate prices have become in Canadian cities like Toronto and Vancouver, they remain a bargain compared to London. Worth noting that in the past, millions of Brits made the move to Canada following the World Wars. Many British children were moved to Canada during the wars for safety. Canadian infrastructure was never bombed and post war recovery was much quicker than Britain and provided more opportunities. My English mother came to Canada as a "war bride" after marrying my father, who was stationed back and forth between England and Holland throughout the war with the Canadian Infantry.

    I can suggest moving to Bouctouche, NB. One can find a job here, like pharmacist/chemist for example. One can buy an almost 2 story modest house with 2 full bathrooms for less than $200K in downtown/center of the town. Not to mention, one can swim here in the warm water of the Atlantic ocean because it's very shallow here and can get even up to +29C.

      Im living in Nova Scotia working in healthcare since february, Halifax is nice and all the only other option was Prince Rupert but I wanted the city life, once I get my PR im moving to either NB or Saskatchewan, housing is soo unaffordable here prices have doubled in about 5 years

      @@samdonohoe9796 Makes more sense to move from Halifax to NB, not as cold in the winter and the ocean is warm for swimming. Moncton is the best option, but cheaper to buy a house outside the city, about 15-20 min drive to work.

      Haha! Never thought I would see Bouctouche mentioned in an immigration video. Acadian coast is not a bad place for folks wanting a small town or rural lifestyle.

    This is so interesting thank you! I was born and raised in the UK, my mum is English and my dad was Canadian. There doesn’t seem to be a way but I’m still curious if anyone could help, so my mum and I want to move to Canada in the near future and I was wondering if being a Canadian citizen, she would have any rights to permanent residency through me? She’s a nurse so can get other visas, I’m an adult too so I don’t think there is a way but it’s a shame as I wouldn’t move without her

    Thank You Jack! Interesting perspectives! I'm a Canadian, born and raised. Do you go back to England from time to time?

    I met 2 Brits in Canada. One of them was miserable because there's no pubs here like in the UK.

      Haha, thanks for watching! As much as I miss the UK pubs, the microbrewery’s all across Canada (especially SK) make up for it😊

      Good question! Are you thinking of moving permanently or for just a few years? I would consider going to www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship.html
      This is what I used to help when I was looking at routes to move here :)

Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.

    Quick question. Do they still make you get the tattoo under your left armpit when you join the SS in Canada? That's kinda putting me off taking the plunge, the whole 'parliament supports the SS' thing.

    I have just seen the recent census. The majority population is now Asian. Where are the European areas? In Canada.

    • @sfrwriter
      @sfrwriter 4 місяці тому

      Think carefully about coming to Canada. Everything is unaffordable. Born Canadians are leaving the country in droves. There are no European areas. Canada is often called India 2.0. There are Indians everywhere. They are unskilled, uneducated, rude and barely speak English. I'm a Dutch migrant and I'm seriously thinking about leaving. I have an Aussie passport as well, but again Australia and also New Zealand are overrun by Indians, Chinese and muslims. Personally I now have my eyes on South America. Lots of Germans are moving to Paraguay. I'm contemplating about Mexico or Argentina. Mexico has lots of Americans and Canadians who were fed up with Trudeau's government and moved south.

    • @Buckshot99
      @Buckshot99 Місяць тому +2

      The census is wrong. But I too wonder if there are any Indians left in India. Almost all of rural Canada is European or rather a western culture. The large cities, with Montreal a possible exception, are bland cultural wastelands overrun with non western immigrants.

      @Buckshot99 Hey man, thanks for that. I have a German friend in Torronto who has recently moved to Montreal. I'm a skilled tradesman, but I hear the pay is not great in Montreal compared to Torronto?

      @@Buckshot99Hey man thanks for that. I have a German friend in Canada who recently moved from Torronto to Montreal. I'm a skilled tradesman who works in construction and read the pay is not great in Montreal compared to Torronto?
      Edit: india's population in 1 of 2 countries in the billions and has over taken China's population now. Indians are everywhere, and the UK has the highest population of Indians in the Western world and then 2nd highest is in Canada. All the working class Brits have moved out of London all you mostly see in London is Indians. Diversity is good when it's balanced, but it's too over crowded and out of control now. All our rubbish government cares about is bringing in cheap labour so they keep encouraging it. It's all about money and greed over preserving heritage and British culture.

      @@onenation8707 That's correct. Pay is shit and taxes are high. Alberta may be a better option.
