I loved this year, but will be camping/attending at least one whole weekend next year. It's impossible to get the full experience in one day. The vibe of this place is fabulous, I can wander for hours despite the small size. You can't round a corner without coming upon a unique show or demonstration. I'm getting excited for next year just typing this!
Thank you do much for your wonderful channel. You have no idea how much it has helped me. I have autistic kids and they love the change to dark academia. They find it cosy. ❤
I'm not surprised the Bay area Faire has the best food. The food court in the Westfield in SF was like nothing I'd ever seen in a mall. However, my local Faire in Bristol WI has to have the best brats! Mit or Mit Out? I go to Faires mainly for the music. Look out for hurdy-gurdy player Dora Viellette; she's quiet but knowledgeable and authentic. Definitely in the "reenactment" space. She travels around.
your costumes are always so cool and your videos at all the locations are so informative, it's great to see the "real" experiences all the fun, good, the great, and the not so great.. i just want to go to them all now
Ahhh I went on the last Saturday that it was open! It was my first faire and I’m so glad we went! My friends and I had a BLASTTT! We on on going to the Pleasure Faire next spring 🤪
Good men are watching this to find your location and put you in check with what history and now should be. Your begining is coming with forxe. Welcome to what you wish for 🙂
Love your content. A little fun fact: George, the guy that founded and owns TRF, got his start at a Ren Fest near the Bay Area. It was more than 50 years ago, though. So not sure if it exists any longer.
This fair looks so incredible oh my god!!! If you love to see historical reenactments, come to the Bristol Renaissance Fair! Our fair is the only one in America set on a specific day in history, its perpetually 1574 up here!!! The "story" spawned because Queen Elizabeth actually VISITED the town of Bristol that summer, and they threw a grand celebration in her honor.
Here in Sweden we have quite a few female jousters at our medieval/renaissance faires. But they are mostly the other way around, more focus on the historical reenactment and to a lesser degree on fantasy. Great channel, and of course I subscribed.

I’m an autistic adult and also find dark academia cozy! I can’t explain it but it’s quite soothing.

Awesome video! Adding this to my list of renaissance faires I want to visit someday soon!

GOOGLING THIS!
As usual another great Video! 😃
This looks so much fun

I look forward to that Ren Faire artichoke every year!
Great video! Loved it.
I'm somewhat surprised that more faires don't do re-enacting... I think the in my state MA/King Richard's does a pretty good with that.
The Avalon Renaissance Festival in Kilgore Texas has had a female jouster for years. She's played the villain, which is fun.
At the faires in Florida we have this awesome female jouster. She is the only one that I've seen but I've seen her at at least four different ones 😊
We enjoyed your vid, thank you!
I hope you were able to make it in the 21 and over to watch the Mermaid Tavern Show! 🧜♀️🩵
you gotta come to MDRF next year!!!!
Tater-tots are truly one of the gods greatest gifts to us all. \m/
I just subscribed yesterday!
California has some very good food! I live in Texas now, and there's no comparison
In addition to your wonderful content I feel I should point out that you are an exceptionally lovely young lady. Keep these videos coming please!
Thank you so much! 💖
PLEASE, tell me you had a turkey leg at the faire!
Can't go to a Ren Faire without eating at least ONE leg
Hi there! Love from Uk, Adam
Would you happen to be a member of the Society for Creative Anachronists (SCA)? There are kingdoms all over the US!
Colorado has artichokes! And I believe we’ve had a female knight off and on- she travels
I worked this Faire once. Even had tickets this year, but didnt go.
I love your videos
Looks like the type of place you can visit and forget all the modern problems of the world
Exactly 🫶
Speaking as a visitor to the PA Ren Faire, I wholeheartedly agree
Ah... You have skill with a blade.... but you are not a Jedi yet
The first time I ever had an Artichoke was at the Colorado Renaissance Faire
Pa renn faire had a woman knight this year!
That’s an ad right? Not complaining, but it is extra complimentary compared to your usual videos, no?
What’s an ad?
@ the video. Clearly not if you ask the question 🤣 Damn, I think that’s the first renfaire video I watched with no flaws to be reported
You have spun that sword around once or twice huh. Lol You had that down good.
So depressing
The Louisiana Ren Faire has two female knights
