No, you trick the A/C unit into thinking its hotter than it is with the night light. Check out my low cost STC3008 alternative I would suggest this controller
What size units do you run? I have an 8000btu unit in a 7x7x4 building and it’s seems to do pretty good so far but can’t help to think a 10000 would do better
Depending on what temp you are attempting to obtain I would suggest a 10-12k minimum. My main goal on my coolers is to run between 32-36 degrees, for meat storage. Check out the STC3008 video for a great controller as well
@@maddog45auto66 I have, the inkbird relays dont hold up under constant use on larger A/C units. Maybe something smaller but have been bitten more that once by them.
