This man was my university school mate. Very happy for Akintola. Very smart guy. From almost graduating with a first class degree, working with Schlumberger and then resigning to pursue his passion in real estate and being successful at it. Kudos Akintola.
Do you know his full name please? I want him to design and build a house for me. This apartment is unique.... No stupid pop and the tilling are done by expert
As an investor looking into the African real estate market, I have been following your channel, and I am seeing this man growing into his design. Becoming better and better. This is really beautiful to see. Soon, I might venture into the Nigerian real estate market with this man. Thank you once again for your video. Great work
Good thinking. The real estate sector is booming across Nigeria, not just Lagos. If you're in the upper scale space, I would actually advice getting into the Abuja market before Lagos. The money in Abuja is something else, and there's less competition.
Huge Kudos to the gentleman showing you the property, he was well knowledgeable and his presentation was good, no fluff. I actually took notes. Thanks for the showing. 👍🏾👏🏾🙏🏾
Hello Eden Oasis! Thank you for this lovely video. I can't see this property on your website. In fact, I don't see Ikoyi on your drop-down menu. You all might want to update that. Still seeing more of your Lekki-Epe Properties. This is very very nice actually. Does the property have a name? Aha! Ok. Property is NOT on the market. Fine.
It’s a work in progress but I can envision the end result already. The location and materials used in the building states to me that it’s for an extremely niche crowd. While some people are trying to ascertain price, i am pondering how much the “service charge” would be yearly for this development, considering you get free breakfast daily, uninterrupted power, in built AC etc … It’s definitely thought provoking.
Perfection at is Best, Bedrooms, have clear sliding glasses, well compact with Great sizes. plus, Kitchen has a large Oven, 5 burners stove... I love it. well done, not like that Penthouse you show us, few weeks ago, which have in the Kitchen smallest of every single thing...

Confidence! U look so good with your hair like that, you look so good in general but your just in the hallway havnt toured the actual property yet talking to the developer guy and I'm looking at you and said damn, she is absolutely right
An apartment tower with a lobby that is like that of a hotel is normal in luxury properties abroad. And abroad it is normal for luxury apartments to come with amenities; such as an infinity pool or indoor pool, a gym and much more
You obviously have not checked out the condominiums in Bangkok. State of the art communal spaces... gym, spa, coffee shop, workspaces, rooftop pool... and available for all budgets.
In the same Lagos where some can’t afford a meal daily…..there is God oooo when will will extend this to the greater society not just to a minute few. In places like dubai, some of the metro stations ambience is better than that of some. 5 star hotel lobbies.
In many countries there are different aesthetics that are unique to the building exterior designs and the interiors. If a person can afford a property like this, they have probably been to countries abroad; and they would want something unique to the region. If an affluent person wants the Dubai experience, they go to Dubai. An affluent person likes things that are authentic
I can count how many times "Dubai" was mentioned in this video, sometimes I feel inferiority complex is the issue here for some developers/realors (apologies), they feel if they have not mentioned dubai or "this furniture was imported" then the house is not standard enough. I like this house, and i will still buy it without the need of the many "Dubai standard" that was mentioned , i don't see the need of being in Nigeria and actively promoting/marketing another country.
that is simply because we haven't been able to creaet our own type of architecture that takes the environment and life style we will continue to copy and paste other nation's creativity in all aspects of life.
It’s simply a standard, for better or worse. No different from comparing education in Nigeria/Africa to western or other global standards. Doesn’t prevent YOU from building a mud hut if that’s YOUR personal preference. Agree the “imported” furniture bit is a bit overdone and frankly unnecessary (one reason the Naira’s free fall), but as the developer noted there are Nigerian-made ones (very good ones, I might add). Ultimately, nonetheless, Nigerian manufacturers have to shoot for global standards and if they can meet same they will invariably enjoy a price advantage.
@@therealist2866 It is so ignorant to insinuate that African architecture is simply about ''mud huts''. Are you aware that Africans lived on this planet for 10s of thousands of years before other races emerged? You think they built just mud huts? Think again.
@@therealist2866 you must have covered ur head in pillow ur whole life.. or new to Nigeria. as proud as we are one failing is a need to boast foreign. In the 80s we used to boast about importing israeli security agents.
@@fistandpen2505 huh?! 🤔 Don’t quite get the point you’re struggling to make, but if Nigerian “security agents” are as good (or properly learnt from) Israeli security services, reasonable certain that we wouldn’t be suffering the catastrophic and even existential INSECURITY that pervades Nigeria.
I see the service charge being 4× the rent. The people that can afford this luxury apartment certainly have their own mansions and aren't looking to stay in a rented apartment 😂. My thoughts though. 😊
Very Dubai in the predominantly downmarket Ikoyi. All these Nigerian billionaires living in Ikoyi need to improve the infrastructure. Roads are full of potholes. I stayed a few years ago at The George Hotel... inexplicably the most expensive hotel in Nigeria.. the road it is located on is a disgrace and the bathrooms are 3 star. Why don’t these developers incorporate some African architectural elements Ali to the design and desist blindly copying Dubai. As for the purchase cost... that’s another story... service charge $$$$$$ and in -10 years time will the value of your exorbitantly expensive apartment appreciate exponentially in value like in the west? Beautiful nonetheless and kudos👍🏾
Well, I think this idea is amazing and the building is fantastic but I have my reservations. Now, looking at this from a business perspective, your target market is actually the upper middle class and not the wealthy. Y? Cos the wealthy would rather have their own buildings than rent. Like, have u seen a truly wealthy man living in a rented apartment? Now, how many upper middle class ppl would rather stay in a pricey apartment than build their own? Even if they do, how long can they possibly stay y b4 they feel the need to get their own? I have a lot to say but let me just summarize by saying that this whole project will be more profitable as a hotel than as a residential apartment. I could b wrong but that’s my thought
The truth is that people are moving away from masions once their children have grown and left home. Hence, the wealthy are also buying into this type of property as long as they have a community of the same class of people. Some will buy in they live outside of lagos, but frequent Lagos. They don't have to worry about many stewards.
The rooms are not giving Dubai tho, the lobby can’t be giving Dubai and the rooms aren’t. Lagos interior designers can also do a good job. With technology/internet I don’t think it’s necessary to bring in a Dubai designer just for a space to look like Dubai😂
Why are you bringing interior designers all the way from Dubai to do the job. Aren't there better interior designers in Nigeria or other Afrcan countries to do a magnificent job? Yet we wonder why the continent is not growing...just saying
We have to bring common artisans from neighboring nations of Togo, Benin, CIV, etc., because skill training in Nigeria has been incredibly POOR… Nigeria doesn’t exist in an island. Accordingly, the continent (and Nigerian designers, of which I personally know some very good ones) “grow” by competing against, learning from, and interacting with, the best from around the world. Otherwise, we’ll end up with the same substandard “abeg manage ‘am now” mentality that pervades services in Nigeria.
Very true, the word "Luxury" has been grossly abused by Nigerians in the real estate industry just like they abuse every other thing. The realtors show you one regular not even well finished building and then they say its luxury. It just simply shows that the realtors and people purchasing those buildings have no standard.
When you have the money and ready to build your own property, all you need to do is tell them your standards and they will build it for you if you can pay for it. Don’t give yourself unwarranted and unnecessary headache over somebody’s choice of a house.
For real! Another one is "ultramodern" 😅 like do yall actually know the meaning of those words.. Look in Nigeria you have to be careful with the information you receive hence you start sounding really illiterate
@@fatfarmers7360 Go build your own house, that’s what I said.
