Gotta tell you man, your learning curve is pretty sick. When I watched your first vlogs, I wasn't really a fan of your play, but seeing you improve pretty quickly is a really cool thing to see. Especially your sizings seem to be really on point in most spots. Ofc there's a few hands here and there, that aren't played perfectly, but I've become a pretty big fan of your play. Also the general quality of your videos is really high. Keep it up man and gl at the tables
Well said same
You haven’t made casino reviews like you used to do in your early blogs. You sorta did here and I appreciate it.
I have watched several poker Vlogs over the last few years and especially in the last Covid year. Just letting the vids autoplay on YT while I'm playing online, your vids have popped up and I had never heard of you before. I'm really thankful I stumbled across your channel with your in-depth play-by-play, its a nice change of pace and you have actually helped me look at certain spots differently.
Your vlogs are truly a treat to watch. Thank you for existing.
After watching your newest videos and coming back to older ones, it surprises me how much your skill has improved. You are among the most skilled vloggers out there
Well played and also the cinematography is top notch. 👍
except for the outro - what's the deal with those changes of contrast/tint???
Man Mariano, your vlogs are banging these days! Thanks, these are fun and educational, and just down right killer!
Enjoyed playing with you and seeing some of my hands in the vlog - wish you woulda fell for my inducing bet on river when I had Quads. Glad I folded 44 tho
Thanks for giving us a good hand
Thanks for sharing, Greg! Pretty good table that night?
@@StevieSparkZ for the most part yes. Mariano played with us (2nd tabld) for most of the night because the 1st table broke. Action was pretty good before he arrived and it continued throughout
“Back Door trips draw” 🤣😂
lmaoo
Satisfying video with all the extra effort you put into the production value. Cheers
This cinematography, the editing and the eye to see it all makes for a visually incredible video. You have a lot to be proud of with your vlogs. Man, it’d be fun a lot of fun to play with you. Keep up the great work. Take care.
Mariano, thanks for the pic. You are a huge help in learning the game. You were so nice which made my day.
You and Andrew Lok are possibly the two best *thinking* players who vlog - you rarely fall into the trap of making an ill-advised play just cuz you're vlogging. Would love to see you two collaborate when you go to SF.
Great video !! I’ve played at Lone Butte these last 3 weeks and it is very nice and the staff is excellent. LOVE the drone footage in all your videos. 👍🏻👍🏻
Your Vlogs started out quite good and have just kept progressing to their current state of excellence, your hard work is appreciated! Your narration is so crisp and rarely skips a beat. A 25 minute film seems to zip by in what seems like 8 minutes. Looking forward to catching your next PHX meet up game. Thanks for all
Been waiting for this one. Saw you there but didnt want to bug you 😅 keep up the vlogs brother!
Yay another great vlog! I can't wait to head down to Arizona and check out Lone Butte! You guys are doing a great job selling it.
Down to earth guy with great cinematography and commentary! So happy I discovered this channel
Well done Mariano. Your vlog is really top notch, has improved nicely like your play. The waiting list board showed 2 games total, both as a result of your being there. Hopefully management, at the very least, comped a room and that steak dinner. Should've been some $ as incentive as well.
Mariano, I was playing at the table years ago, on your vlog "Getting owned by regs". That room is shut down now, but the promotions at that place couldn't be beat. The regs pulled down $1500 - $3000 a month just in promotions playing locked down 1/2. It was unreal.
Your improvement is astonishing from Day 1 keep up the progress, impressive!!
The one downside to watching your vlog is the wait in between them always enjoyable content look forward to next week
Bro your music choice is always on point.
yea what is the intro music called?
I’m pretty sure he produces his own music
@@navs2704 nope found it on shazam "elevate" by LAKEY INSPIRED
Mariano, i love your demeanor and commentary on your thought processes during the hands! You make me think about hands in a good light! Also you are one of the best w high level descriptions on each situation. Hope to join you someday at a table! Keep the great vlogs coming!
May the run good be with you poker bro!

“ backdoor trip draw “ lol 😂
Not a fan of ducking spread limit either
Love this Vlog! Lots of lovely plays! I love your vlog style! Keep up the lovely work!
stopped video @ 0:18, man intro music stellar!! Back to another great video!!
Absolutely enjoy the intros to every video 🔥
Action in AZ is always really really good. Talking Stick is my room of choice but I’ll definitely be checking this room out.
Of all of the vloggers you are definitely my favorite!
Great VLOG. Fun to watch! Thanks
Spider senses indeed when you just flat called versus Quads! Nice!
“Backdoor trips” 😂
Royal flush 😂 it was a sf not a rf
backdoor trips-draw - too good! 🤣😂
Another great log with your editing skills, you do have a fall back career opportunity 👍
I do remember your visit to Talking Sticks, so the spread limit system wasn't that unfamiliar you, just the players at the table. If they are playing strong draws, I agree the bet limits, sometimes gives them the correct odds to draw, and you just have to hold on tight to bring in the win.
"Back door trips draw"😂😂😂😂😂
Ive said it b4 and il say it again.
Best Poker Vlogger out there.
Good stuff man!
Only started watching since around blog #60. Loving the content and the quality of your videos. New sub. Keep up the great work
I think correct play would be to bet out your Queen nine holding on the river. For several reasons. You miss the value from mediocre holdings when they check back as you mentioned. This is limited game so I think even if you bet the river you will almost always get a raise if he has a queen and I don’t think that he can ever fold you you put another 500$ re-raise.
I think your strategy would be fine if it is no limit game where you can check and bomb-raise the river, but considering that is another type of a game my strategy seems to be reasonable. Would like to hear your thoughts on that :)
PS im not an expert cause I never played 2 cards where there is any limit but I play quiet a lot of PLO and I would just like to hear if you agree with me :)
In the last hand, what would your sizing have been if there was no maximum bet out of interest? As played, I think Villain really caps himself to a set the majority of the time which could in theory make a huge river merge viable? Villain can probably only have something like 56ss as a hand that beats you after calling flop, leads turn and calls a raise and checks river so you'll be free rolling 90% of the time. He also likely will never call a small sizing with a set but may level himself into calling a big merge bet on river as it seems incoherent in regards to your previous actions. A big merge might also occasionally have the unintended benefit of getting some 6x that he might have to fold as well. Just an interesting thought I had
5-8 suited is my favorite hand and always wins. My friends and fellow players around here don't believe me. Thank you for helping prove me right in this video!
It was good meeting you! Love the new room
🤣🤣🤣 I'm the guy with the big ass hat in background next to M in intro. Didn't get to play with you. Glad didn't ruin your shot. Talkative table I saw you play in.
Hands down the best play by play commentator
Howzit Mariano! Shout from from Honolulu. Keep up the great work!
I used to play 2-3-5 spread limit at Lucky Chances when the only NL game was huge 20-40. Spread can be super juicy when you get turbo fish who play it like it’s 500 Limit. The smallest and biggest bet is 500.
Lol just saw Andrews post, didn’t know you were heading to Colma, a town with more dead ppl than living ones. Enjoy the phillipino food. Check out Matrix and Ybarra 101 in San José too
“Honey honey he played q9!! - the poker brat
It was suited though 😆
He called with

Great looking camera work/music as always. Nice flat call on the paired board of 7's, was sure you were going to try to squeeze out some more value when he bet small. Nice session.
Bro u need to upload 2 a week ur really fun to watch
New fan, love your production
Almost at 60k keep the great videos coming 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Best way to start a Tuesday!!! Great video bro. I learn a lot from your vlogs.....when you coming to Connecticut???
2-5 with an 800 cap and no filming makes Mohegan a bad destination, Foxwoods maybe?
Limit Hold 'Em was good to you. I've found limit induces people to call in places they wouldn't in no-limit so maybe you actually made more in those spots than you would have. They are always in the back of their minds saying "I can only lose this much on the next street anyways so I might as well call."
Love your videos! Just a bit a of feedback I have though is that I'd love to see the dollar value you're betting with on the screen as well as your position. I know you mention what position you're in with every hand and you mention things like "2/3 pot", but I think it'd make it much easier to follow and learn from with a visual representation as well. Keep making killers vlogs! Cheers!
Nice session. Appreciate the commentary on differences in spread-limit vs no-limit
Just a production
Suggestion: I wear headphones most of the time when I watch your videos, when you do the voice over while filming your hands and action at the table, the audio from your table cam still plays in the background and you can bearly hear people/dealer/ pa system talking. You should mute that audio while doing the voice overs and bring it back when your done the voiceover.
Hey Mariano! Great editing, extremely likeable personality, good show overall! New sub, thanks for the vlog and greetings from Finland. Keep up the good work, really enjoy your uploads.
I love the design of these cards!
Keep these awesome vlogs coming Mariano!
Wow that call on the river when your opponent had 7777 was really nice.
Killin. Love Arizona- hope to catch you out there someday.
Mariano more than a spaghetti sauce 🥫
And here I am thinking “ducking” referred to the on board deuces.
M8trix in San Jose used to run a fairly big 10/25 NL. Don't know what the current situation is with the covid restrictions.
Hey Mariano, any other advice for spread limit? Unfortunately state law makes Washington poker just like this, but sadly $300 is the max bet! I still do well playing 3/5 with $1000 max buy in but if you had a tip or two it would be appreciated!
Thanks for the great vids
“Punished” by flopping a straight when you didn’t raise... lol. Nice hand tho and best possible result he had a set.
I am not sure why but you are my favorite poker blog
I think the AQ is a good triple barrel candidate since you block the flush.
“ coolering the life out of someone” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 best line Ever!
Backdoor trips draw 😹😹
Channeling his inner joey Ingram... BACKDOOR QUADS DRAW BACKDOOR BANGKOK
Awesome videos my man. Great work
Thanks!
Kickass session man! 👍
Spread limit, I think you have to lead that Q full river.
Thanks Mariano. I love your videos 👍
Love your videos Mariano! Keep it up! Good luck at the tables! Best greetings from Belgium!
Nothing stronger than flopping back door trips lol
Glad to see you in my home state! Lots of action to be found :)
Look for Andrew Lok when you go to San Francisco and play at lucky chance.
Might have to find my way to Lucky Chances.
straight flush
He’s moving up to 10-20
Bravo Mariano
Mario no
As always great vlog. Thanks for the work
Always a bangerrrrrrr 🔥🔥🔥
Great content. Love the intos.
Nice boat Q9
3-betting k9 suited? Is that the correct play actually curious cuz i dont know?
Not in my opinion
Don't let the nittery win
Definitely very situational. You need to have a solid post flop play down to be able to mix it up like that.
At GTO it's a partial 3-bet bluff in some configurations.
@@MarianoPoker ive three bet way worse, just wondering if its proper, no disrespect
Boy you made it look easy
AA offsuit is 2nd best hand after AA suited
I love making great plays with trash hands and somehow getting there😂
Dang that’s goals dude! Wish I could go once a month and rack up $4,000. That’s like $50,000 a year lol
spread limit sucks :/ after playing The Lodge in Texas it must’ve been such a huge difference😂
Great vlog as usual 👍
If it's heads up, you can go "all in" for any ammount
That's not true
@@MarianoPoker I play here at least once a week and at talking stick resort, Ive never not been able to shove/repop over the spread limit when heads up.
I'm watching your vlogs to The End..always.
WHAT A KILLING!!!!😆
Well played with the 85ss 😉
Good shitt bro!👌
Come play at Graton casino, it’s an hour away from sf and the games are better
When you coming back to Arizona? Were going to limit after the 21st!!!
