Your ability to assess the hands and players has really improved, which explains the wins. The last hand was a great example of putting her on a high range, then pushing her out with a huge semi-bluff on the Turn....but with many outs. The board and big bet would scare any KK/AA....

As TheGriz said, the match the stack 1-2 can play pretty big. There is usually one or two 2-5 feeder tables where people sit down with 1000+! It’s great action and the dealers are all awesome people! Lately there have been 7-8 games running with anywhere from 15-25 on the list.

I’m not hawking for it and it’s not part of my “game” but if someone directly next to me is just plain showing their cards by the way they pick them up and I might just be leaning back in the chair then I’m gonna see those cards, and once I’ve seen them I have to use that information the rest of the hand or else I’m just being an idiot.

@@sportspokerguy3506 I’m not even considering that situation, if someone is drunk and sloppy enough to show the world their holding I don’t expect any logical thinking player to Men in Black style erase it from their memory. In my mind that puts the onus on the player in question not you. My problem is with players actively looking for an edge outside of the rules, it also happens to often be these players who think their skill level is adjacent to Phil Ivey. If part of your game is glancing side to side in hopes of catching a peak at a players hand, you’re a grease ball and that’s all there is to it. I check my cards like I’m opening up the pin code to my soul, that shouldn’t need to be a part of poker. Personally if I am seated beside either of these personalities (the peaker and the card revealer) I’ll keep an out for an open seat to move too. Best of luck at the tables. Cheers.

Great content as always, production values continue to sparkle. The QsJs hand... I kinda want to check/raise the flop and then barrel favorable turns. You're 46:53 against overpairs on the flop and you're never crushed. If she has AsKs you're 53:46 ahead. It's really hard for her to call a flop check/raise and a turn barrel with that board, especially if the board turns ugly. And of course you could turn gin of some sort. It really depends on whether she can fold an overpair on the flop.
Whatever, good video and thank you.

    • @omriflo
      @omriflo 3 роки тому

He's actually ahead on the flop against overpairs with no spade. Slightly behind like you said to overpairs with a spade- more so to KK than to AA (the turn card is evident to why that's the case - harder to hit runner-runner straight).

Would be interesting to see what that last card was on that last hand. Either way, with the hand you had, you are almost a coin flip on your correct prediction of her having aces or kings. You had this many outs:
    -Two Queens
    -Four Jacks
    -Eight Spades
-Four Kings (After the turn card)
-Total of 18 outs for the river
I would have ripped it in on the flop, even knowing she had aces or kings. Take a look at the Dwan vs. Greenstein in HSP and it was ideally the same exact situation you were in. Dwan went with the hand and won $900,000+ pot.
Either way, I believe, even if you lost, that there are too many outs to not take advantage of that hand to go all in with. Of course, this would have been my approach.
I'm interested to hear the rest of anyone else's feedback on that hand.
You did a great job and quality of the video was well done. You have a new subscriber!

Bro...that donk jam on the turn with QJss was such a great play. Recognizing that you had best a best case scenario of 21 outs (against red Aces) and a worst case scenario of 13 outs (against black Kings) you know you're never folding to a pot sized jam. So you might as well jam yourself. Sick that you got it through...but even if you didn't you would have had like 37%.

Sick playing. On the last hand, the flop flat call, and then out of flow shove on the turn was brilliant. A lot of people would have check raised the flop and lost the opportunity to maneuver.
For what it’s worth, I would have c bet the 98 on the A66 flop, because that was your best c bet hand, as there are no flop draws available, and you had both backdoor draws.
The other player could have potentially given you credit for the 6, but the result likely would have been the same assuming a flop c bet and a turn shove by you, and them folding at that point would have still been a hero fold.

Don’t bluff with your bluff catching range. Bluff with your air that either unblocks missed draws or blocks value.
QJo is standard complete in sb.

Agree with the first part, but with a straddle QJ isn't a complete

Your strategy is actually better than Brad Owens but get yourself the FBI interviews on how to read liars and Daniel Negreanus 1st book. But you will find the FBI book to show incredible reads on even the best pros. Things you can't help doing. It will jump your game so much.

Your cards were a little high on that 53D hand, very possible he saw them. However he would probably Hollywood his fold so as to not give that away.
